Lore Asgard

Lore Asgard is an AU/Fanfiction that I've created. It's basically a what if situation — what if Persephone went through her plan on episode 75 of running away and joining the Norse Pantheon?

(Also L Persephone moment, the Norse Pantheons are awesome-)

Honestly I was surprised when I haven't seen anything about it at the time, no AUs, no fanfiction, nothing. So around March 2022 I decided to turn it into a reality and Lore Asgard was born! (Please note that these are old concepts and is not in reference to the current story)

Until early January! Since making art for things tend to be exhausting at times, what better way to tell the story than to write it instead-

And thus published on Ao3!

The chapter process is slow due to procrastination (plus holidays are on the way-), but it'll get there!

Loki lord of Chaos feels like it was made to intentionally piss people off. Because it’s the most 2012 MCU Loki fanfiction I’ve seen. Loki is cishet and all his worst traits get shuffled to Thor. Seriously switch Thor and Loki in that comic and it makes more sense.

It's very clear that the reason LLOC Thor is so terrible is so Sif and Loki's affair would be justified. And that is part of what makes LLOC and Lore Olympus such awful stories; the author is afraid of letting their characters be bad/be in the wrong.

Loki and Persephone constantly hurting other people? Well that's just their powers, they can't control it! Sif and Hades cheating on their partners? Make the person they're cheating on abusive with no other subtext or thought put into it before or after! There's no actual accountability for anything these characters do, and that is the worst type of storytelling.

Like it's one thing if they were using their own characters, but the fact that they're using gods, deities that are known to be very morally grey, for this type of narrative feels like being kicked in the balls.

The gods being morally grey is why I love mythology. Like, you could be researching a pantheon and then get hit with "Flopinslop is the Sneepian god of The Feeling of Sand Between Your Butt Cheeks, he rides on laser dolphins and rips the nips off of anyone he sees (and the laser dolphins will blast the ripped-off nips until it's nothing but ash because you didn't feed them 2,067 apples each). He also brings bountiful life to the beaches and has a huge pen-"

That's riiiiiiiight, I am planning on making a PNGTuber debut on Twitch! Depending if the "pc delivery and possibly assemble" part goes well or not, it'll be either late June or early July! FINALLY! I am so-so sorry! 2026 has not been my year thus far in both writing and reading :p

Anyways, I'm really excited about this chapter, been planning this out for a while (though obviously I will not say, you will have to read the chapter to find out teehee-)

Starting to write the scene I've been foaming at the mouth on writing for a while. Not gonna say much, but what I will say is:

and he's CONSISTENTLY NORMAL SIZED. IT'S NOT A MISTAKE. IT'S. IT'S INTENTIONAL. AND WELL-EXECUTED-

it's. it's the most beautiful thing i've ever seen.

y'all don't understand, i'm not even being sarcastic, i can't remember the last time i looked at LO art and didn't physically recoil in terror at the body proportions. maybe my brain is just so fucking fried from hater-ade but like this actually looks totally fine and decent.

and it's not just hades, persephone looks good too. like ofc she's wearing the boob window dress but it actually LOOKS GOOD ON HER because instead of looking like an adult toddler who got cheap buccal fat removal and lip filler, she LOOKS LIKE A NORMAL ADULT WOMAN. SHE'S STILL SHORT. BUT SHE'S PROPORTIONATELY SHORT THE WAY AN ADULT WOMAN WOULD BE. NOT AN OVERSIZED CHILD. AN ADULT WOMAN.

AND IT'S. CONSISTENT.

i don't know if it was rachel or a guest artist who did this or maybe a small team of rachel and someone else, or maybe it just took not working with lisette who i'm like 99% certain was the cause of those fridge bodies, but. regardless. well done. it still has its quirks. it still has some goofy poses and angles and jank. but it's not a complete eyesore.

genuinely, if the S3 artwork looked like this throughout, i probably wouldn't have had as much to bitch about it. at least in regards to the art specifically, the writing would still be a tire fire lmao

this bonus chapter isn't perfect, there are definitely things regarding the actual story / content that i'm 'meh' on, but like. NONE of it comes close to being as blatantly absurd and offensive as the main comic was. and that delights me and pisses me tf off because why couldn't we have had this in the COMIC dammit.

can't believe they actually got me hoping again that the show might be able to turn things around. christ in hell. i gotta go load up on my hater-ade.
