Shortly after I took this photo, on the ride home, a black SUV pulled up next to me. There was a little girl in the back seat and she had little scrapes on her face and strawberry blond hair. She reminded me of a girls daughter I know…. Her dad was pointing and she was grinning and yelling. So I started to show off a bit. As the engine revved, she would get more excited and start waving and squealing. I had the biggest smile on my face, even though she couldn’t see it from my helmet. At a light the dad said “hey man thanks for that! She loves motorcycles!” I said “no worries, she looks like a little daredevil herself!” Pointing to scrapes on her face. “Yup! First time on a big wheel and she ate it, got up and went for it again” he said. At that moment that little girl was having the time of her life, laughing, pointing, waving, and squealing at the simplest of things.

I just want to say thank you to that little strawberry blond girl wherever she is… you put alot of things into focus for me. It’s the little things. Never take them for granted.
