for anyone struggling with bloating when they eat:
drink kombucha! usually around 60 cals per bottle (aw man) but! they are full of healthy probiotics and they are .5% alcohol which isnt enough to get you feeling drunk but it kills your appetite. the probiotics help your gut biome and make it easier to digest food and absorb nutrients which means you will get the most out of the food you do decide to put in your body.
cant handle or acquire kombucha? yogurt, sourcrout, any fermented foods will give you the same effect, just be consistent and have a little every day and you will almost never have uncomfortable bloating again.
additional tips: prioritize fiber for good gut movement with the added bonus of lowering appetite. eat ginger whenever possible (ginger tea, raw ginger, ginger kombucha is really common, pickled ginger) because it has anti nausea and anti bloating properties plus i find that it also lowers appetite and doesnt break a fast when you have it in tea.
