The same something she saw in the icebound woods of Starkiller Base, in the fiery desecration of Snoke’s throne room, and on Seregar, by the light of their locked sabers. Fear, she thinks. He looks terrified. He’s still inside her, weakly pulsing, his mind curling loosely into hers. “Join me. Please.”

Chapter 14: Judgement Day - now up on AO3

Fic Summary: Ben Solo, protégé to James Snoke at the prestigious Kenobi-Snoke-Organa law firm, is tasked with employing a male Alpha Associate from one of the Trinity law schools. Why then, he hires Rey Jensen – a female Omega from Jakku Law with a photographic memory and a stubborn streak to rival any Alpha – is anyone’s guess.

Luckily no one knows she’s an Omega except him.

Unfortunately for Ben, her intoxicating scent is messing with his head and he is increasingly growing to resent the fact that he isn’t like every other person on the planet who simply can’t smell her.

Chapter Summary: Ben and Rey deal with the consequences of their secrets and grapple with what to do next. And the Gala begins!

Chapter Excerpt:

Yes, it’s definitely a good thing, her not being here.  It simplifies things, makes his decision easy.  Uncomplicated.

He’d never have to see her again.  She would become a memory, a bad memory, and like all memories, eventually, she would fade.  

It’ll be fine.  He’ll be fine.

He can let her go. 

Ben tugs at his bow-tie.  Suddenly it’s too tight.

He hates this.  Why does he have to be here?  He just wants to go home.

He’s half made up his mind to leave, when he just happens to look up… and just like that, the rest of the world fades away.

Because on the landing at the top if the marble staircase, he sees her.

Dressed in a champagne gown that sparkles as much as she does, she is so pure, glowing bright and brilliant like a supernova.

She’s beautiful.

It’s devastating.

He’s like nobody else in the world. When I am with him, it’s like I’m split in half. Part of me is on fire, going crazy if I’m not touching him. The other half is calm and peaceful, just perfectly content, knowing he is the one for me.

Coruscating sunlight speared through the iron bars of the brothel window as Phasma opened the rich velvet curtains, disturbing swarms of dust left dancing in the dim morning light.

The brothel had a certain smell to it in the morning, a mix of burnt-out incense, disinfectant and sex. The first two odours came and went as the day went on, but the latter was constant, a heady layer of latex, lubricant and body fluids.

Star Wars Original Character Master List

Hi guys!

I’ve started an ongoing project for Star Wars fans to join the universe as their own original character. The pieces replicate stained glass and are set in an Art Deco style frame. Above the frame is the character’s faction or group they are associated with, and below it (vertical) or on the frame itself (horizontal) is the character’s name in Aurebesh.

What prompted the project?

Well, I’m glad you asked! I’ve always, ALWAYS loved the Mandalorians, and when Rebels came out I was hooked. Sabine is my hero—and I know I would LOVE to be one, but my cosplay days have never come, and I’m sure I’m not alone. So instead I decided to create my character as a part of a series because of it.

Another WIP from Illusions of Grandeur (speed paint sketch session) it’ll be updated in stages like the other one.

I’m a big supporter of Rey finding her way with the support of people around her, the force itself, and beyond. As she grows with the force, she learns to trust her surroundings making such a fight without the ship possible. (She is not going to fly... she’s falling with style)

It’s the part where Poe ambushes Ben, shooting at him from his cockpit because he thought Rey was in danger.

I did take this story down temporarily so I could flesh it out properly. The Reylo fandom, fellow authors in @thereylowritingden, betas including @kathknight and awesome friends @kaybohls, @sofondabooks, @safewordisdevilsnare, @theaberrantwritergirl and everyone else I don’t know @‘s to have helped me grow over the past year. That being the truth I figured it was time to reassess this story. 💖💖💖

Excerpt:

Lightning came, a brilliant shock of pure white through the gloomy sky, forking with a violent crack to the top of the unsuspecting South tower of the ziggurat beside her. The flash was enough to nearly blind her, her body reacting like she had a blaster to her head. Rey opened her eyes wide in shock and suddenly she was falling as her feet slipped out from beneath her. Time became distorted, everything slowed down until there was nothing but her and the black sky above her that made to swallow her whole. She lashed out her hand, brushing her fingers towards the sky, grasping at nothing within the fathomless expanse of inky blue. Slowed by time, everything around her blurred as she hung weightlessly in midair, closing her eyes to surrender herself into the immeasurable sky above her.

Eyes On Me (ch14)

“Healing.”

“Rey?” Ben asks still too excited to sleep.

“Hmm?”

“What was it like?”

“What was what like?”

He pauses looking down at her from where he’s propped up on her pillows. She’s so pretty like this. His lips quirk up in a shy smile when she looks up to check on him while his silence stretches on for far too long.

“What was what like, Ben?”

He blinks slowly wanting to remember her here. Every day is a blessing with her, but tonight, after their promises... in the odd amount of privacy they’ve been allowed by the other three extensions of their family, it’s these tiny moments he wants to stay the freshest in his mind.

“When you got the results... what did you think?”

She makes a content hum while he rubs circles into her back, and then what sounds like a steadying breath passes her lips.

“I didn’t know what to think,” she feels him tense up under him. “Not like that. I mean... when I asked for the test, I kept telling myself you weren’t. That I was delusional. There was no way that it could be true... that you could be family, because... who thinks like that? Who carries around hope like that? I’d be crazy to think some random guy is going to walk into my life and wind up being our missing link. But here you are. And the test confirmed it, I tried to tell myself it was a false positive...not because of who you are, but rather what I could handle. I’ve been one to wish upon a star...”

“But you wish on butterflies...” Ben interrupts.

Rey hums to agree with him.

“Yes. I started that when the kids were small.”

“And you shared it with me.”

“You looked like you needed one,” she whispers.

“I did.”

“Do you still?”

“No, I don’t think I do.”

“And why’s that?”

“Because I got everything I could have wished for, right here, with you,” he assures her.
