"Just let it out, love," Warren said softly, frowning lightly. He sighed and laid back down, turning so then his back was facing the blonde as he faced the wall. "Well, whenever you need someone to talk to, I’m always here. I mean, we share a baby together. The least we can do is try to get to know one another." He closed his eyes, even if he wasn’t tired anymore, and sighed again. "Take as much time as you need to heal yourself, Lace. I’ll gladly take care of Evi until her mother feels better."

Lacy sighed softly as he turned the other way, moving to lie on her back as she stared up at the roof. "I know that, Warren.." she started, hesitating for a second before finishing her sentence. "But I know that if I tell you, you won't look at me the same."

Like a child, he sat up and pushed his exhaustion out of his conscience, ignoring the heavy weight upon his eyelids. “Long or not. I’m a father. Sleepless nights come along with being a father,” he nodded, folding his arms. “Now, your day. Spill.”

When Warren sat up Lacy frowned stubbornly. "It's not just one day. I can't explain it because it's just a lot that's built up and if I start talking about it I won't be able to stop and I don't want to talk about it because I only just stopped crying this morning and I really don't want to start again so please. Just sleep." she babbled quickly, squeezing her eyes shut as she felt the familiar stinging sensation prickle in her eyes as they welled up. Crying in front of anyone was the last thing she wanted to do, let alone Warren. The last and only person she had properly cried to was Killian, and she hated the feeling of dumping her problems on someone she cared about.

Empathy is something that I do feel. Sympathy, however.. I don't feel at all. Maybe you should google what those words mean before you use any of them. Next time you decide to complain you might not be talking to someone who can empathize with you.
