I want to look for roy harper x reader fics? there's actually jason todd x reader and a random roy x reader tag thrown in the mix

this goes for basically any god damn x reader tags. STOP TAGGING UNRELATED X READER TAGS AND STICK TO THE CHARACTER YOU'RE WRITING THE FIC OR ONE SHOT FOR

it is so annoying to scroll through a tag and only see memes or corny people trying to be relatable about fanfiction. everything you’re saying is a regurgitated joke that someone has said years ago. if your post hasn’t made on someone’s feed, too fucking bad. no one cares that you love jason todd so much or how you hate how y/n acts the way she does.

same with x oc fics. because no one is interested in your lousy ass work about the most generic plot ever doesn’t mean you have to push your fic in everyone’s face in a tag that your fic doesn’t belong in. i promise you, someone is gonna look at it and like it.

The adults in this reboot of the franchise are FULLY accountable for choosing to do this show and accepting a pay cheque over supporting a minority group. Even if they claim they support trans rights, they’re cowards and don’t actually support them at all.

The kids do NOT deserve abuse or hate, whether it’s because you’re comparing them to Dan/Rupert/Emma or because you’re boycotting due to the author’s views. They are literal CHILDREN.

Your nostalgia over a children’s series about kids going to school is NOT more important than trans people being respected and having rights. As long as JKR is still alive, she profits off of this.

Harry Potter directly funds transphobia and anti-trans laws in the UK.

She pours her money into the J.K Rowling women's fund. Meaning Harry Potter revenue directly pays for right wing transphobic pearl clutchers to take trans people to court and to stamp out the rights of trans people in the UK.

It is also hurting cis women in the UK because now we're all fucking paranoid about being 'transvestigated,' being abused in public (for 'not looking cis enough') or being denied services because some snotty billionaire decided she gets to decide who is or is not a 'woman' (based entirely on her weirdo, white, billionaire-class definition of the word.)

Writers need to know how to properly tag their stories…

Oh dear… let me tell you, what you're doing is wrong, because some people don't want to see a certain character, aren't in the mood to read that story, or want something very specific.

In the case of Reader stories tagged with a character who doesn't appear (and I'm sure their participation is minimal) or an OC, it causes people to ignore or block them because, as I explained, they want to read something specific, aren't in the mood, or don't want to read about a character they don't like.

So, PLEASE LEARN TO TAG PROPERLY, FOR GOD'S SAKE, LEARN TO TAG PROPERLY. Is that too much to ask?

Yes, some people like to read a bit of everything, but most, as I've explained, prefer what interests them and is well-tagged and easy to access… they don't want to read a story that I'm pretty sure is an OC story or has something they don't like that's in the tags they follow…

i’m talking about actually putting a smut tag on your smut, keeping your oc in the oc tag not the reader one, keeping your face and body descriptions in the correct tags (that’s also including fem!reader), etc etc

i feel like we say this every couple of months and still some people pretend like they never see those posts

(also update from the comments: don’t flood the x reader tags with memes, don’t tag characters which aren’t in your fic and most importantly always put your trigger warnings in your tags)
