Lights Out ©2019 Lost as Found V Live at The Pyramid Cabaret in Winnipeg, MB. On a night that I tried to escape my pain.. I had a dream that I was on a road trip, looking for something, and pulled over to check my phone for directions, it was then that a small child playing with their parents on the sidewalk came over and opened the passenger door. "Hi!" shouted the kid into the vehicle. His mother came over in a panic and apologized for her child, I explained it was alright, her kid was kind of adorable. As I went to close the door behind them, I noticed a rock tucked into the curb with a familiar handwriting on it. "Still chasing me after all this time, hey?" "Don't you know that when the lights go out..." "...You should love you for you." "I love you for you, you, you!" Suddenly I saw an orange halo, and heard a song playing in the background. Then I was on a stage, playing that song with an angel. When I woke up, I posted that song online, and within a couple hours I was invited to perform at Road to Indie Week, in Winnipeg MB at The Pyramid Cabaret. Two days later I was on a stage, and I played that song. This is that dream; and Lights Out is that song. I ended up getting signed with MyAfton after that performance, and went on to put together a performance piece called "Lights Out." which headlined The Pyramid Cabaret on January 18th, 2019. 0.
