its so dumb that people have turned bullying into something that only really happens in schools/with kids and teenagers. like, no? it still fucking sucks when you treat people like shit. that goes for the work-floor too (or anywhere else). just because you guys are too big of a wuss to call it bullying doesnt mean its not bullying

to add onto this: the whole ‘these newer generations are soft’ thing is applied to this too by a lot of older adults AND teenagers. except, when it’s them getting targeted (e.g. for saying dumb shit like that) they know how to tell you all about how they (supposed ‘normal folks’) get treated horribly for their opinions. how they’re always targeted. how they’re the real minorities.

but when it’s about (for example) how you shouldn’t call strangers slurs because they’re different, they’ll be all tough and tell you how ‘that used to be normal’ and how ‘you can’t say anything these days’
