Laurie and Fetch are brothers

Half brothers, they are aware of each other and technically met once, but Laurie was around 7 and just stated he didn't talk to strangers before hiding in the back room at the ranger station until Fetch (Roux at the time) left after talking to Gilley for a bit.

Later, Gilley made it clear it was up to Laurie if he wanted to meet his family or not. Laurie chose not. He had zero interest in getting to know the other side of his family when he was a kid, and Fetch was the only one who tried, their shared dad never did, and never would. Fetch tried after Laurie's existence came up in conversation and his mom shook her head and made a comment about how sad it was to grow up without your pack.

Fetch was mid twenties at the time, and died a handful of years later. That fact isn't something Laurie knows.

thinking about the time a dude with a booth trying to get sign ups (no recollection of what for) approached me and said “Hey! do you know how much a polar bear weighs?” the correct response to this is “i don’t know”, so that the original speaker can say “enough to break the ice!” however, he did not count on Animal Facts Georg saying “i think about 990lbs?” which destroyed any hope for a normal and productive conversation
