The official sideblog for the "Lost Fog" verse. A mutual killing game the likes of which you've probably seen before! Following this blog isn't necessary, but reccomended if you wish to keep up with what's happening!
Hey everyone, sorry for the prolonged silence over here! Things have been slow on our end, but Lost Fog is very much still alive and kicking. I know a lot of you are probably wondering: Where are we going from here? Whoâs going to fill in the spot of our mastermind?
Right now, unfortunately, the answer is weâre working on it. There are things that will need to be changed and/or updated to get the verse back on track. I know itâs not the answer you guys want. I know you guys are excited to see how the story progresses. And we definitely want to get it out there for you guys. However, it will take some time. And we will get things straightened out. So, all we ask is just a bit more patience, before we move forward.
Another thing I want to address is that you guys shouldnât all hound one mod with questions. There are four of us on the team (Hedgie, Watchy, Sonny, and myself)! Weâre all fairly available, ready, and willing to answer questions. So, donât hesitate to come and ask any of us for help.
Thank you once again, and we will be in full force once more as soon as possible!
-Cola
Due to recent events, I will be leaving Lost Fog. The reasons will not be presented other than my overall health and issues with the mod team, and I will thank you all for understanding. I'm extremely upset that I will be leaving, but leaving I will nonetheless. Thank you all for this amazing opportunity to run such an amazing group.
The screens flickered, before showing a picture of the King with a wide grin on his face. At least he seemed to be in a good mood despite being sick...Â
âItâs my birthday! So you know, if you want to send me some birthday wishes, Iâd certainly accept them... just something for you guys to keep in mind...âÂ
The PA System chimed through the prison, a tired-sounding Warden coming onto the microphone.
âMay I have your attention please? I would like to announce that I will be holding a party in the recreation yard in a few days. I've noticed that yâall are gloomy and shit, so I figured Iâd so somethinâ nice. It isnât gonna be formal, so normal clothes are fine.â
He paused to let that sink in for a moment before speaking again.
In a prison, there is no such thing as lavish fancy items such as freshly baked donuts or cookies or even a good five star meal. There is only the mere basics for a meal and itâs usually not great tasting either. So it only makes sense that the same standards apply for Magatsu Prison
Here is a list to give everyone a general idea of what would be available:
Rice
Thin sliced veggies ( such as the radish, carrots, etc )
Miso soup ( or any mostly liquid soups )
Chicken, Fish, and Pork ( but in VERY small qualities )
Fruits ( such as oranges, apples, etc )
Milk & Water & Coffee for drinks ( you could make orange juice out of the oranges )
"...Felix... it was? Uh... is there anywhere...? ...Any... places with plant life?" He clenched his teeth, trying to hide how anxious he was getting. "....N-not that I would expect that in a prison, but.. well.."
âUnfortunately...no. This facility has been designed to be rather bare bones for this incident, it seems...â
â...But did you know that there are several sorts of vegetables that you can regrow from kitchen scraps? And an unpaved corner of dirt in the main courtyard.â
"Huh." Well, that was surprising. To him, at least. He wasn't sure if it was normal by anyone else's standards. He hadn't really had any other particular questions in mind at that point and was just curious to know just HOW available Felix was, but-- well, small talk couldn't hurt, right? "What kind of tea do you usually drink? Might be nice to just have some tea together, when all this is over. We usually drink chamomille with more sugar than is healthy, but Kise's good at tea ceremonies."
âI tend to enjoy oolong tea. There is just the right combination of green and black tea leaves that allow it to gain a rather lovely shade of blue once it has finished with brewing. âŠI do not really have to wait for that to occur, but it passes the time. I have never participated in a tea ceremony, however.â
Okay, you heckos! Itâs the time to play a new game called âvolunteersâ! Rules are quite simple: send us an ask or a discord message saying you volunteer your muse for either the spot of the killer or victim or both! We will wait a period of time before finalizing our picks of the victim and killer!
"..Are you there? I was wondering if you always are. It kind of feels like it. But you can't -always- be there, at the other end of the phone, can you? I mean, you probably need stuff like food and sleep too, don't you? I can't really imagine that it's easy to try and help everyone in here and being available at all times. You probably have a life if your own to take care of, too."
ââŠNot particularly.â The voice replies, seeming to have hesitated for a moment before responding. With only Uendo in the room, the volume of the phone  has decreased to a more ordinary level,  a way to provide a more private conversation.â...Or rather, a more proper way to word things would beâŠthat attending to this situation is my life. An occupation? One where being available to you at any time is a requirement. Because you are not always contacting me I am able to attend to other things if I wish, but this would be by and far the top priority.â
â...Those things you mentioned are not particularly luxuries I take much mind to, but I do enjoy brewing myself cups of tea on occasion.â
"Mr. Felix... the Warden said someone was leaking information to you. Who is it?"
â...You do realize that simply stating the identity of a hypothetical person who may or may not be assisting me would make it so much easier for them to be put in danger if said information got out, right.â
The dreaded sound rang out through the prison, one the prisoners thought they would never have to hear again. The PA system crackled to life.
â...Bossman wants yâall in the courtyard on the double. Get on that.â
The Warden sounded almost angry, but mostly subdued before the system crackled off.
Once everyone had gathered in the courtyard once more, Windy had gently put down a sleepy Riley, motioning him to go to Bella, before going to stand next to the King.
âWe have an important announcement for you all.â
Windy started, an echoing effect to his voice when he spoke before handing it off to the King.
Much to everyoneâs surprise though, they were all greeted with a quiet whine instead of his usual theatrics. Of course, one look at the King would reveal to everyone what was wrong: his face was pale, and there were bags under his eyes as he sniffled. Did he really catch a cold?Â
âT-Thanks... youâre really nice, you know that? I donât know where Iâd be if it werenât for you.âÂ
Adachi gave a sneeze, clinging onto the podium tightly as if he could lose his balance at any given moment. Was this really the same guy who had trapped them all here?Â
âAnyways... I-I still gotta give you guys a motive, right...? But Iâve ran out of ideas... and itâs not like it takes much for you guys to kill someone around here, right?âÂ
He gave another sniffle, unaware of all the concerned looks in his direction as he continued to whine.Â
âJust give me a break already... I donât wanna do this anymore... If I say that Iâll let you go if you kill someone, thatâd be enough right? I just wanna go back to bed...âÂ
The King took a few steps from his podium, trying to walk away from it on his own...Â
Only to end up collapsing, a shivering mess. There was a long-suffering groan from the Warden before he slung the King over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, turning to the crowd.
âAs another note. There is a certain person that we would like either given over to us or eliminated. Someone is leaking information to Olâ Phoney and we want them found. Off yâall get then.â
With that, Windy and the King disappeared once more.
[CHAPTER 3 - A LITTLE SIESTA...? TIME FOR A FIESTA!]: BEGIN!Â
Izuru walked back to the infirmary after grabbing a small meal to take up his place next to Edna, he noticed something on the floor, he stared at it quietly for a minute and bent down and picked it up.
As the black haired male walked back with something that Edna probably prefer something else over whatâs in that plate, his red eyes locked on the fallen photo. He would notice that it was a picture of Adachi with Ryotaro Dojima and Nanako Dojima. Itâs a happy family like photo; a memory that was left in the distance.
Anyone could walk past the medical ward. But there had been people who were in need of medical attention from the recent events that occurred in the trial. There were even some of the shadow blobs just laying on the beds, groaning in a sick manner. Some of the patients that needed to recover as well. Tension was up in the air but it was simmering down again once the blobs were proving to not focused on attacking but rather just sick. Now someone decided to walk past the door, they would notice something on the floor in the medical bay.
(Iamclivedove) "Decision...? Would you mind explaining it a bit more? Did something happen or...?"
âWhen it comes to assisting all of you in this situation, there is only so much that can be done within the confines of a trial. Thus, I have decided to set this up so that I may communicate with you at all times. If one needs advice or information, I will be happy to provide my assistance- and private conversation, if need be.ââ...Of course, it should be rather obvious that news of this development does not reach the ears of Adachi or the Warden.â
"Hey, wait, I thought Felix only appears during the trials...!" No one seemed to have died recently, which led Celia to wonder if this was a trick of some sorts. "...Wait, we aren't even in the trial room, so how come your phone is here...?"
â...I believe it should be something rather simple to understand that this is not the ordinary phone that I use to speak with you all. But it is the only actual phone like object that you all have regular access to, Iâm sorry to say.â His response is able to be heard clearly despite the small receiver, making it appear as if itâs usually ability in the trials has transferred to here.âBut, I am rather lucky that there are phones at all. I would not have been able to take action on my decision otherwise.âÂ
Motivated by the sound of Rileyâs worries, several of the prisoners have gathered in a group in front of the Visitor Centerâs entrance in order to investigate his claims of the  scary noises that come from within. Though no noises came from the room now, the amount of tension bubbling under the surface of what could be inside is rather visible to those who have gathered. After all, who knows what sort of thing their captors could have made for shits and giggles?
But spurred by his need to protect, it is Grimsby who bites the bullet and grips his hand onto the door handle, yanking the door open to reveal...
....The room to be entirely empty, as it always seemed to be. Nothing out of the ordinary...until the eye catches onto a lone phone receiver that was off itâs hook, dangling a few inches from the ground by itâs curly cord. Unlike the pitch black phones along the other seats that still hung in their places, the color of the phone was a very distinctive blue...and from the sound of the dial tone coming from it, actually seemed to be connected to something.
There is a moment of pause as the group takes this information in, but soon enough someone moves to investigate further. Rise Kujikawa slowly steps out of the crowd, kneeling down to pick up the phone before hesitantly putting it to her ear.
And just like that, the dial tone cuts out to reveal a familiar voice.
â--ello? Hello, are you able to hear me now? ...Oh, yes! Hello Miss Kujikawa, shall I speak loudly enough so that the others may hear me?â

As poorly supplied for entertainment as it was, the Rec Room on the first floor seems to have become a common place for many prisoners to spend their time in the brief lulls of peace in the prison. Several people have gathered even in this early hour, scattered across the room as the already well-worn card and board games were used to pass the time
' A-Ah ------ aaah ! '
But in a place like this, of course peace never lasted long.
With the sudden sound of crying in the air, Rileyâs small figure can be seen dashing through the door with his grip tight upon his ever-present golden teddy bear, going towards Bella and embracing her side. There were TEARS in the child's eyes; loud sobs & hiccups escaping his breath as he quivered. What was wrong? What is it that he thought he saw?
' F-Fredbear & I ------ w-we heard some REALLY scary noises in the visitor room ! W-What if there's a monster in there ? ! What do we do ? ! What if it EATS US ? ! '
Though how much simple- albeit creepy- stuffed animal was actually able to hear is debatable, the childâs reaction alone is enough to prove that something had occurred in regards to the visitorâs center- The only question being, what?
