Tom Marvolo Riddle - 7th year
Ever since he entered Hogwarts, he seems to have captured more than one gaze. He is often seen talking to Professor Slughorn after potionology class and with a very close group of people; all Slytherins and from pure-blood families. Many rumors surround him, but most aren't answered, almost making him an urban legend of some sort. When approached by some courageous soul, he replies briefly and politely, often wearing a discreet smile. However, to those close to him, he lets his façade drop and takes the role of a cold leader, ready to do anything to achieve his final goal.
When he met you during your third year, you peaked his curiosity and he decided to add you to his group. Now more than ever, you start to realize just how much he is willing to do.
Abraxas Malfoy - 7th year
Born from the noble house of Malfoy, he is called "the silver prince" among his peers. A proud slytherin, often seen in the library researching for some unnamed research. Malfoy is one of Slughorn's favorite students, always invited to the professor's gatherings and always offering the most expensive champagne there is on the market.
He is also known to always stick with Riddle and is the one who pays for his most beautiful fournitures. As generous as he can seem, his pettiness knows no bound, especially when treating muggle-borns or half-bloods; not even taking the time to speak to them.
Since the start, you and him exchanged only when needed. You sometimes wonder what he thinks of you, but it seems like he has come to terms with the fact that you are in his circle.
Antonin Dolohov - 7th year
Many didn't approach him (still don't) when he transferred from Durmstrang. With his thick Russian accent, and his blunt speech, he comes across as unapproachable, but he doesn't mind, on the contrary, he seems to like it that way.
Coming from the infamous Dolohov family, one of the closest families to Grindewald, the russian ministry of magic decided to place him and his relatives in England to ensure that no rebellion would surface.
Antonin doesn't often speak, resuming his conversations to small responses and quite crude statements. He excels in Potionology and is also part of the Slug Club. When he enrolled at Hogwarts, during his fourth year, Dolohov was immediately approached by Tom Riddle, engaging in small-talks, but the more the year progressed, the more you could see the two together.
Now a member of Riddle's group, he is viewed as one of his most loyal "friends", sometimes being absent during classes and returning the day after without anyone notice, but you are starting to notice that his absence is growing more and more as the year progresses.
Tiberius Maxwell Nott - 7th year
Descendant from the noble house of Nott, close acquaintance to Malfoy, Tiberius is often seen smoking cigarettes by the big window of the Slytherin common room and playing billiards. His sharp mind and curiosity have made him one of Slughorn's favorite students alongside Tom Riddle, also earning him the image of a brilliant wizard who would later become an auror like his father.
Tiberius has a habit of staring at people, often making them uncomfortable, even if he excuses himself, coming up with various excuses, he secretly notes every gesture his target does.
During his first year, he met Riddle for the first time on the train, he firstly didn't talk to him, considering that "Riddle" was not a pure-blood family name. However, Tom slowly earned his curiosity throughout their first year at Hogwarts, as the two competed for the best grades. He almost never speak to you, only examining you like a scientist.
Rodolphus Lestrange - 6th year
Renowned for his inclinement in metamorphosis, having received compliments from McGonagall, Rodolphus is known to have a double facade, passing from very calm to very aggressive really quick. His father, had him as an offspring, but he immediately hid this incident, becoming almost obsessed by the idea of his child becoming into pure-blood supremacy. This resulted in Rodolphus basking in the dark arts really young, so when he first met Tom during his third year, he was captivated by his point of view, finding agreement with him.
Nowadays, he is considered the most loyal one to Tom Riddle among his peers, often offering his help when Riddle needs something. To him, blood supremacy means more than anything, however, there is a key difference between Rodolphus and his father: he does respect whoever agrees with this ideology, wether you are a muggle-born or a half-blood. But because it was rare for muggle-borns or in general families outside the great Twenty-Eight to agree with blood-purists, Tom sparked the interest of Lestrange.
Felix Evan Rosier - 5th year
Known around Hogwarts to win people's trust easily, Felix is a professional at complimenting and charming those who can help him gain something. With this ability, it comes with no surprise that he fully gained the trust of multiple teachers throughout his school years.
He started playing Quidditch since he was little, a sport his nanny introduced to him long ago, so when he entered Hogwarts, he asked to play for the Slytherin team as a chaser. Now in fifth year, he has built a reputation as an important piece in the Quidditch team for his house, becoming quite popular.
Rosier is one of those people who thrives for compliments and praises, always boosting his ego. He never had his life really figured out, he simply wishes to "make his mark on the wizarding world" as he says...and he will make it at any cost. His constant wooing is his form of taking the first steps in his journey.
What he didn't know is that during his fourth year, a certain Tom Riddle started to talk to him more regularly, showering him with compliments, exactly what Felix liked. However, he soon realized it was a trap, so he confronted this Riddle in person, even challenging him into a duel, but before it could take place, Tom assured it wouldn't be necessary and that he was just testing him. Since then, Rosier's intrigue never faded out and he started following Riddle more and more. He may seem naïve, but deep down he knows what Tom seeks, and he supports it fully.
Reinhard Wulfric Mulciber - 6th year
If you look carefully at night in the Slytherin part of the castle, you can see a room that is always lit up; Mulciber's. Because of that, some rumors spread in the school, about a young wizard who practiced dark magic.
To be frank, the rumors were exactly true. What other students did not understand is that Reinhard actually never cared about hiding it from his peers but rather to the teachers. His favorite subject was Defense Against the Dark Arts, not because he sought to actually learn it - but because he wished to understand it fully to be able to use it himself, to master it to perfection. Of course this led Tom to start speaking him, finding a common interest.
Among the knights, Mulciber is considered one of the most cold-blooded ones, alongside Rodolphus or Antonin, he is precise in what he does and never reveals anything. Sometimes, in potionology class, he scrutinizes other students, particularly muggle borns, however you never knew why, and maybe that's in your best interest.
Childhood friend with Rosier, Caius also wishes to make his impact on the world. However unlike his fellow friend, he doesn't have the ability to charm, nor he is as confident as him, this led Caius to have a low self-esteem. He did want to achieve his goal, but between being compared to his older brother and Rosier, the boy never had the chance to prove himself.
This situation became a twisted routine for him, forcing the young wizard to see himself as the problem. He was becoming desperate to do something. To leave a mark. Like Rosier, like his brother and like his father.
It was at Hogwarts, during his fourth year that someone did notice him. His name was Tom Riddle, someone everyone knew at the school. Finally having the gaze of someone as recognize as Riddle on him...it felt like heaven. The elder student let him confide in him, let all his worries go, it became addictive.
For once, Caius felt like he was finally making progress and being recognized for his efforts. He started following Tom around everywhere, "like a puppy" once remarked Malfoy. To him, it was freeing, but he didn't know he was simply wrapping his own chains around himself.
