[ Further and further they both go yet they seem to be making no progress at all. Like something is keeping them apart. ]
* (Time isn't recognizable anymore, all that is known is that the search has taken a long of time and effort for absolutely no results.)
* (Had it been just a few seconds, and she was just being impatient? Had it been a few minutes, with her patience being tested? Or had it been hours, and her patience was one of the last things to break yet?)

* (The voice was noticeably louder. Not because they were close, but because its bearer was trying their best to be heard. Desperation a great motivator for their voice.)
