I think my dad’s given up treating me like a breakable object these days. We’re home. I’m absolutely fine and getting on my tutoring work. Life happens. It’s for living. Let’s get on with it.

Go me. I love it when my brain lands me in hospital. Oh well... my parents are here. Love them. They’ll let me home again tomorrow...

It’s Christmas in two weeks... it doesn’t feel like Christmas in two weeks... we aren’t even doing anything Christmas... pizza and chips on christmas day... just me and tad and Mellie and Dad...

this time last year we had a detailed plan of who was sleeping where and doing what... we were at the cottage..... the cottage... I miss it... but I can’t...

Dad gets to look at his new little grandkid today. Apparently the last scan appointments he went to were to look at me. Tense affair apparently seen as he wasn’t speaking to my mother at the time. He kept all my little pictures though… all blurry and blobby… I think in the grand scheme of things today’s appointment will be less stressful, they might even be done…I hope they weren’t running behind. They make you do ultrasounds on a full bladder. I don’t think I could ever do that.

They’re done now. He called me to say they’ve gone for tea and cake. One day that man will become a piece of cake. He really likes Mellie. I like her… I’m used to her now…

well done Molly and Greg and poor Lou, well done for being brave. Did she react to anything

Crustaceans, and molluscs. She has two pretty impressive welts on her arm now. Everything else was no reaction. She’s all clean and warm and dry again, curled on up the sofa now with Greg; he’s showing her trailers for some films coming out they both were interested in. Molly’s making hot chocolate and chatting to James.

Hey all.

We have been working hard on keeping going and being positive this week, work, tutoring and swim coaching have all gone well, but today Lou has her allergy test, and is understandably petrified. I mean she’ll do it but she is not happy about it.

I keep finding her with various bits of Sherlock’s clothing on too, as a comfort mostly, and today is no different. She won’t let go of one of his scarves for anything. She was even wearing it at breakfast…
