It's not quite so easy for someone so small to tuck in someone twice her size, particularly when she's curled up beside her, but Shadow does her best, and she's rather proud of it if truth be told. It's nice and cozy and when she's done she nestles herself back into Spot's arms, looking up at her with big dark eyes and a stubborn expression.

"Uh huh." The tone is a remarkably good impression of Spot herself, the tone she uses to make sure they all go to bed each night and don't stay up whispering. Shadow reaches out and touches her cheek again with a stern expression that seems out of place on a five year old. "You gotta sleep so you can get better and then you can come sell and play again like before."

Spot can't help but smile, clearly recognizing the tone that Shadow is using. Her baby can act grown and authoritative when she wants to, that's for sure. "Alright, baby. That sounds like a good enough reason to me." She kisses her little on the head again. Shadow is just so cute like this. "But only if you stay snuggled down and nap with me." It's close enough to Shadow's actual naptime- Spot may be stuck in bed, but she can at least give Mac a hand out with this. "Sleepy time with my chickadee."

Undoubtedly within the next minute or two, one of the kiddos will put in an appearance. His money's on Splasher, given the kid's not usually too far away from him at any given time, but that also makes Buttons an option, even if he's a middle, not a little. The twins are likely being corralled by Finch, but Henry's probably still about too, likely not too far behind Splasher. The two of them are quite the mischievous duo. He's fished them out of the pond twice this month alone.

"Don't care. Means I get to kiss you." Besides, how much ribbing can they actually do? Spot's his girlfriend, there's nothing weird or embarrassing about that. So what if they kiss? That's what they're supposed to do. Not like Jack has let it stop him from sucking face with Katherine.

Almost like magic, Buttons' little head pops up around the corner. Of all the Manhattan kids, Buttons is one she trusts the most not too make too much of a fuss. Spot grabs at his shirt, pulling him close to her lips. "If you don't care, then I don't either," she whispers, before pressing their lips together.

It's good when they're together. Spot never thought anything could take a place in her heart like Brooklyn and her girls. But Race makes a pretty good case. "Will you hold my hand too?" she asks, tempting him with another kiss on the neck.
