In the midst of enormous challenges so far, we’ve been lucky to celebrate an end to the 366 days of 2020.

I looked forward to a highly prosperous and productive year to start this decade.

But it became clear that this is so much more than that — we’re at an unbelievable phase of demanding transformation in each of our daily lives.

As we usher the start of 2021 moments from now, may we find a renewed sense of purpose, direction, opportunity, strength, love, and most of all, kindness.

This year forged us in fire but we are made of magic. 💫

There’s more to the life you’re living if you dare to reach for more.

Never had a partner and I think it’s partly about me.. that when the time comes and I’m asked if I am ready to give up my dreams just to be with this partner forever, I’d say no in a heartbeat.

No one is ever ready to give up their dreams.

Learned today that there are two kinds of questions, a losing and a winning one.

The question we ask will determine the answer we deserve.

Maraming tao magpaparamdam sayo na di mo deserve to, di mo deserve yan. Fact is, sila mismo hindi nila alam kung ano deserve nila.

Go and discover what you want, not because you feel like you deserved it. Go because you want it. Go where your heart desires.

Went from all high to all sad tonight upon seeing this guy on instagram enjoying the best things in life.

The best part, he’s enjoying this ideal life with an ideal partner.

...And I’m here, dreaming.

Some live to dream, others are living the dream.

May we value our freedom enough to defend it.

People will ask you to declare a position and the moment that you do, it will be too late to save yourself from their trap of opinions.

While we cannot agree on all things, we should be able to comprehend facts without bias and to act on truth not opinions.

Are you still single?

Yes. Single. As in single since birth. 😢

Today, I got my final answer.

Even though I already knew that this will not go in my favor, I didn’t expect that I’ll get hurt this much.

I guess I have the answer I need to move on and to improve myself further.

It’s painful because I hoped for a different outcome. That beyond the bad things I had to endure these past months, there’s a day of reckoning.

To tell you, I have this fear of emotional trade, that if I had a week of pure joy, I’ll have to pay it with a fortnight’s worth of misfit days.

I was so wrong about putting myself at the back seat, that’s for sure. I don’t know but these past years, I managed to be happy for others instead. I ended up depending my own happiness on theirs.

Right now, my mind is me telling that I missed out on a lot of things. What if I did this, what if I have that, what if I said yes before?

These will remain questions for years to come but I look forward to a day where I can just answer, laugh them off, and realize —

That at the end of the day, my past decisions made me look at life better than I did before. That these questions are better answered by experience that made me a better person. That beyond my regrets, I rised up higher and stronger.

My thoughts and prayers tonight are with those who had to endure injustice in this time when we all have to be kind and understanding.

Everyone deserves to be treated fairly. We get stronger and better as a community when we accept that each of us are different —and this difference should unite us in kindness.

We need to promote a culture of fairness, equity over equality.

May we use our privilege to help others and to have better understanding of their divergent realities.

I look forward to the day when our collective courage, concern, and most of all, our hope, succeed to finally end this global challenge.

And may our future success spur a culture of unity and love for all.

Let future burn like wildfire, so that everyone may see its light. Let it consume what’s present. What remains is a past full of ashes.
