Not Biased, Just Playing Favorites

Legal courts are a puzzling topic for me. An entity, which is housed by the state, funded by the state, regulated by the state, and who’s employees are paid by the state, is expected to remain unbiased and completely impartial in the case of whether or not the state employee who maced me in the face in defense of the state was in the wrong. Yeah, right. 🙄 For our next study in bias, we’ll put a bowl of candy in front of a 6 year old and ask them to impartially decide if they should eat it or give it to their sibling.
