Raising Funds to Move ASAP
Hey guys - this post sucks to make but it’s necessary. For those who don’t know me, I’m a NB POC from Mexico, living in CA.
As anyone has been following me for a while knows, my lifelong dream was to become a psychologist. I started graduate school fall of 2018 and was finally pursuing my dream - but unfortunately, I had to take a leave of absence from my program.
The reason being that the place where I live is no longer safe due to domestic violence. There’s a history of violence and substance use in my home and shit basically hit the fan. So right now I’m trying to relocate to another city out of safety reasons but the Bay Area market sucks so anywhere that’s accessible to me and my full time job (SF) is ridiculously high priced.
For this reason I’m asking if anyone can donate, I’d really appreciate it. All funds will be used solely for move in expenses and things I’ll need to purchase (like furniture, kitchenware, etc.) I’m seeing three spots this week and I’m planning to move by March 1st, 2019 (preferably sooner.)
