baby kat wrote this almost exactly 10 years ago! I remember writing this during class lmao. it honestly still holds up PRETTY well. also I got back into X-Men again last year and this rocks. twincest if you squint? who was I kidding, there was no squinting needed because I was all in on that but just terrified of taboo subjects back then...
4 - a matter of probability, odds, and chance | Honkai Star Rail
many big plans but multi-chaps are NOT my strong point. in any case, I think the outline I had for this was pretty banging and it was my first foray into action/adventure which I'd never really written before...
3 - makin' bad decisions (for you) | Bleach
first foray back into the Bleach fandom in a long time, will hold a special place in my heart for that reason, but not higher because I don't think it's my best work or characterisation
2 - a soft place to land | The Umbrella Academy
this was just a very emotionally driven fic for me, I still tear up when I think about that silly series and I can't watch it without my heart aching. this combined with the odyssey motifs just really makes this one of my favourite fics I've ever written.
1 - learned all your tricks, wasn't too hard | Bleach
another really really emotionally driven fic, I just can't stop thinking about the Momo & Shinji relationship and what ties them together, I think I finally got kind of a handle on the characters and voices in this one and all the little events were just such a delight to write. feeling so soft and emotional about these two.
