Drabble about Wilmer when he gave Demi a puppy
Wilmer walked back and forth in the living room, trying to calm down. He looked at the box which was placed on the couch and sighed. Maybe it wasn’t a good idea to buy her a present like that?
He sat down on the bed and looked into the box. The small white puppy was sitting in the box with his little eyes wide opened. Wilmer patted puppy’s back and sighed again. She will like it, she will, He tried to convince himself.
After a few minutes Wilmer heard how the door was unlocked and he immediately looked at the puppy again with wide eyes. That’s it.
"Your mommy is back. Be a good boy and wait here" Wilmer said, nervously before standing up and walking to the hall room to meet his girlfriend.
Demi walked into the apartment and immediately rushed to Wilmer. Her arms wrapped around Wilmer’s neck and she pressed her lips to his. Wilmer wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him.
"Hi," Demi whispered against his lips when they broke the kiss.
"Hi" Wilmer whispered back and rested his forehead agaisnt her. "I missed you so much," He said and kissed her again.
Suddenly they heard a sound as if something had dropped, which made them pull away. Demi’s eyes immediately widened when she saw a white ball rushing over to them.
The puppy rushed to Demi and looked at her with his beautiful eyes. Demi looked at the puppy, then at Wilmer, then back to the puppy.
"Wilmer?" She asked as the tears filled her eyes.
"I… Merry Christmas," He managed to let out when the stupid smile formed on his face. He wasn’t planning everything to happen like this but oh well.
"Oh my God," Demi squealed and leaned over to take a puppy into her arms. The puppy immediately licked her face, making Demi giggle as she looked at him. Then she looked at Wilmer and grinned "Thank you, thank you, thank you," She repeated and pecked Wilmer’s lips several times.
"I’m happy you like him," Wilmer smiled to her.
"I like him? I love him, Wilmer! He’s perfect, my little white ball," She said and kissed puppy’s face for a few times.
Forgetting all her suitcases and things, which were standing outside the apartment, Demi walked to the living room and placed the puppy on the couch. The puppy immediately started playing with her, making Demi giggle.
The whole apartment was filled with Demi’s laugh.
Wilmer stood at the doorway and watched his girlfriend with a huge smile on his face. That moment he realized that he also got his Christmas present: his girlfriend was happy and it was the best gift for him.
