open to: anyone, 25+ muse: jasmine sterling. 28. she/her. pansexual. stripper. portrayed by coco jones. plot: classic fwb situation where it's the morning after and jasmine is trying to convince y/m to stay for just a little longer. notes: read my rules before interacting and do not like my starters!
"C'mon, it's still early," she said, slowly sliding one of her hands over their shoulder, then eventually down their bare chest in hopes to entice them to stay longer. "Don't head out just yet, we've got plenty of time."
savannah paused halfway through pulling her shirt back on, breath catching just slightly at the touch. eyes fluttered shut for a second like she was trying to gather herself, but it wasn't working really. not with jasmine's hand there. not with her voice like that. "you say that like i don't have somewhere to be," she said almost breathlessly. a hand came up to cover the others for a moment. not to push her away, but to hold it in place. "i've got work; bright lights, fake smiles, eight hours of pretending i don't hate every second of it." she was trying to talk herself out of this really. "but... five minutes, yeah?"
open to : anyone ! ( age gap more than welcome ).
' nothing personal, but… ' her upper lip curled, caught for a second between her teeth as she drew in a slow breath. ' i saw the blood stains on your shirt. didn't tell anyone, though. washed it. real careful. '
"nothing personal?" halo repeated softly, corners of her mouth twitching like she might laugh; but didn't. "you noticed something that personal and decided to keep it to yourself." she stepped closer. "washed it, too." added in a dropped tone. "that's not exactly a neutral choice. you're either very kind or very curious. which one is it?"
frowning as teaira did what she always used to do whenever she'd start her shit, malaya was sure that none of her old tricks were going to work now. her little vanishing act must have given the other woman plenty of time to put her walls up, so playing games was clearly not an option anymore. "i'm sorry." it didn't fix anything, yet she felt like she owed it to her ex-lover to apologize anyway. glancing around, she took note of the upgraded vip section and smiled, knowing how much this place meant to teaira, and she was at least glad to see it only growing and getting better. the other woman deserved that, at least. "for the record, you throwing punches was always one of my favorite things about you." she confessed, avoiding the eye contact briefly, needing to still herself before deciding to bite the bullet. "could you act your age for once?" she whined. "i really did just make it back to the city, and yeah, my first thought was you. i just wanted to come see you, okay? i wanted to make sure you were okay. that's it." that wasn't the full truth, but close enough. "now, are you going to keep being an ass, or can i get a drink?"
"an apology?" tea echoed, brow arched. "that's what you came back with?" eyes flicking over malaya, quick, assessing; like she was checking for something familiar and hating that she found it. the mention of the place didn't go unnoticed either, but tea didn't give her the satisfaction of acknowledging it out loud. "now it's your favorite?" she snickered, head shaking. at the whine though, her jaw tightened. there it was. that tone. like no time had passed. like she hadn't spent however long putting herself back together after malaya disappeared without so much as a warning. "you don't get to come in here after ghosting me, acting like nothing happened, and then tell me to act my age." after a moment she cleared her throat. "your first thought was me?" she repeated. "funny. you weren't thinking about me when you left." that probably landed heavier than she meant it to; pettiness at its finest. "but yeah," nodding toward the bar. "you can get a drink. your ass is making it though. and while you're there pour me a shot, maybe i'll start forgiving you then."
open to : f / nb ( 30+ ). muse : harmony lopez. queer. she / her. based off plot in the source. * please do not like my starter !
" you're on my mind constantly ! every day , every night ... you're just there. living rent free in my mind and it's the fucking worst and a big problem for me." she let out a huff. " because i have a boyfriend and ... it's not right for me to feeling like this for you."
the woman was too stunned to speak—literally. aiko froze as the words settled in. "i… i don't know what to say to that." she truly didn't; and not because she hadn't felt it too, but because how do you respond to hearing something like that from your best friend when you've been denying your own feelings?
jules was essentially defeated now, already worn out from going back and forth with nivea when she had heard more than enough. as much as she wanted to believe her, as much as she still loved the other woman and wanted nothing more than to fall into her arms, trust went a long way, and she couldn't trust her. "i don't believe you." she stated, her voice cracking just a bit as she forced back more tears threatening to fall. "what if she were here right now? what if she changed her mind and wanted you back? i'm done being your rebound, your second choice you just have to settle for. i deserve more than that." she wasn't sure if she were trying to convince herself or her ex, but her words rang true regardless. "this was never meant to be, so maybe we should just be done with each other."
nivea's breath caught like she'd been hit, but she didn't step back. didn't give jules the distance she was clearly asking for. if anything, she moved closer; slow and careful, like approaching something fragile instead of something already breaking. "you think i'd still be here, standing in front of you, looking this pathetic if i wanted her back?" she finally let out that breath, running a hand through her hair. "if she walked in that door right now, it wouldn't change anything. i already made that choice, jules. i made it when i walked away from her and i made it every day after that." she took another step closer, bodies inches apart now. "i messed up. i handled everything wrong, but she is not the person i want. she's not the one i chose. you're who i want. you're the one i choose. and i'm not done choosing you, so you can say it's not meant to be, but i'm not giving up on us."
♱ ⠀ … ⠀ PLOT ⠀⠀⠀⠀──⠀⠀ ⠀closed ⠀? ⠀⠀@lovcrgirl
❝ so this what we're doing now ? ignoring each other ? ❞ leans against the doorway , head tilted up as she crosses her arms . a knowing smirk sneaks on her face . the apartment remains eerily quiet without the LOUD presence of her sibling . like the calm before the storm . ❝ you know that's not gonna change what happened . ❞
she froze at the sound of the other's voice, not turning right away—that had been the whole strategy. ignore it. ignore her. pretend it never happened. yeah, that was working just perfect. a quiet exhale slipped past her lips before she finally looked over, slower than necessary; expression composed but not quite convincing. "i'm not ignoring you," noemi said which was already a lie. "i'm just… choosing not to make a big deal out of something that shouldn't have happened in the first place." arms folded loosely across her chest, mirroring eli without thinking, but there was no smirk to match it, just something tighter. conflicted. "it was one kiss," she added like saying it smaller might make it feel that way. "we were drunk. and you're." she cut herself off as their gaze met steadier. "with my sister. and that's the only part that matters."
malaya rolled her eyes as teaira considered that this could be a hallucination. of course her mind would resort to such just because it had been a while since they'd crossed paths. it felt rather extreme, but perhaps if she had been in the other's shoes, she would have assumed the same. "i can slap you if you want to be sure that i'm really here." she offered, though a simple little pinch would have been enough. before she could even try to keep things civil, to just come at this with a little hope, teaira was calling her out, rightfully so, and she groaned in response. so much for a welcome back she thought to herself as she shifted her body to give the other woman her full attention. "that's not fair, and that's not entirely what happened." she stated defensively, starting to tap her nails on the bar top. the compliment did get a smile out of her, yet it didn't last long. "why are you being so suspicious? i seriously just got back to the city, and i wanted to come check on you. and on this place." malaya shrugged, telling a bit of a half truth, but it didn't matter. "you look good too, but what's up? how are you, how's the club...how's your dating life going?"
she caught malaya's wrist gently when her nails started tapping, stilling the sound against the bar. "don't," she whispered. "you don't get to breeze in here and act like i'm crazy for having questions." her hand dropped after a moment, but the warmth of it lingered between them. "and i'm not being suspicious." she continued. "i'm being realistic. last time you stood in that exact spot, you were halfway out the door already." the compliment earned the smallest twitch of her mouth, but teaira didn't let it bloom. "the club's good. packed most weekends. we expanded the vip section. i stopped throwing punches when customers get mouthy." her eyes met malaya's subtly. "i'd call that growth." as for the last question, she tilted her head. "my dating life? you don't get to ask that like you didn't set it back a year." she huffed out a humorless laugh. "i've been fine, mal. busy. building something that doesn't disappear on me. what about you? what's new? or are still up to no good."

noelle adjusted the strap of her heel and looked over at them with a slow, teasing smile. "just so we're clear," she whispered. "i'm doing this as a favor, not because you look ridiculously good in that color." she slipped her arm through theirs before they could respond, already playing the part as the door to the valentine's get together came into view. "if anyone asks how we met, it was unexpected and magical. if they ask how serious we are?" her fingers squeezed their arm gently. "we make them uncomfortable with eye contact. got it?" she winked with the same teasing smirk. "now relax, i've got you. just try not to fall in love with me before dessert."
nivea snapping at her, even momentarily, only further pissed her off because how dare she be the one frustrated when this was her doing? she hadn't asked for the rug to be pulled out from under her — she was merely just stuck in the aftermath of being a pawn in a game she hadn't been aware was being played, so sue her for assuming the worst. "there's nothing wrong with having your heart broken and needing an outlet, but fuck you for not telling me i was just that: an outlet for you to use." she snapped back, deciding she was entitled to being pissed since she hadn't been the one who betrayed someone she claimed to love. the more her ex tried to plead her case, taking accountability for it while also swearing that what they had was real, the more juliana couldn't bring herself to believe her. grabbing herself a glass of tequila as she let nivea finish, she took a long swig of it before nodding. "i'm pretty sure what you did was the definition of using me, niv. want me to google it and prove it to you, or does pretending that it wasn't your intention make you feel better?" jules asked. "and seriously, you can't just say there was no plan. maybe you didn't flesh it all out, but you had some idea of what you expected — and this becoming real sure as fuck wasn't the outcome you wanted."
nivea flinched like the words physically hit her. "don't," she said quietly. 'don't reduce it to that." fingers dragged through hair in frustration. "yeah, i was heartbroken. yeah, i leaned on you. but you weren't some faceless distraction i picked off a shelf, jules. you were you." she swallowed hard, eyes glassy. "if i just wanted an outlet, i wouldn't still be here letting you tear me apart, okay? i'm sorry. i'm so sorry. baby, please."
leaning against the table, selene raised her eyebrows in question. "and what makes you so sure that all these bad things are going to happen?" she knew esther was making great points but selene hated thinking about the worst outcomes - or even the future. she liked having things play out for their own sake. "i don't have to stop looking at you like this if you don't want me to stop." her voice rang with seduction, almost as if she was teasing the slightly younger girl. looking over both of her shoulders making no one was near them she asked the girl, "do you want to go somewhere after our shifts? i mean we can do whatever and if you think it isn't worth the risk of being caught, i will one-hundred percent lay this to rest. i'm willing to help you have other jobs lined up if you're willing to give me a small chance."
esther swallowed : god, selene made it sound so easy. like the world wouldn't tilt off its axis the second someone noticed the way they looked at each other. "you always do this," she whispered. "you make it sound like the fall won't hurt." her fingers tightened around the edge of the counter. knuckles paling before she forced herself to relax. she glanced around—not because she thought anyone was watching, but because wanting this felt dangerous enough on its own. "it's not just about getting caught." she admitted. "it's about… if this goes bad i work with you. i see you every day. i don't know if i could handle pretending i don't care." her gaze flicked back up to selena's and whatever guard she'd been clinging to started cracking. "but i also don't know if i can keep pretending i don't want this." she let out a shaky breath. "you scare me," she confessed, almost laughing at herself. "not because you're reckless. because i think if i let myself, i'd fall too hard." silence stretched before she finally stepped closer. "okay, after our shifts." which was over in less than five minutes.
"OH, YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING me." neenah muttered under her breath at the words, then watched as zazie sat up. "emotional terrorism? the fuck does that even mean?" she just shook her head at the next words out of zazie's mouth, in disbelief. "disappearing, and doing my job are two different things. you knew where i was, and i didn't have signal." at the mention of the moment with the costar, she just snorted. "are you jealous? is that what this is? because that 'moment' was nothing. nothing, okay?"
she laughed once, "nothing?" echoed while eyes narrowed. "you don't look at nothing like that, nee." she pushed up from the bed fully now, arms folding tight across her chest. "and i'm not stupid. no signal for days at a time? fine. but you couldn't find two minutes anywhere in there to make sure i didn't feel like i was losing you?" she stepped closer. "yeah, i'm jealous. not because of her, but because i don't know where i stand with you. and i'm tired of pretending that doesn't mess with me." her jaw tightened. "if it was nothing, then why did it feel like something to me?"
"sutton?" sasha's smile instantly grew bigger as the name left her mouth. sure enough, she did remember watching her practically crash on her driveway growing up. "it's so good to see you again!" her sleep did sort of dissapate as she spoke, the reconition causing loads of memories to come flooding back almost instantly. "years passed, and i'm still nowhere close to appreciating the mornings." she rubbed her eyes with her hands, trying to rid them of sleep. it was going to take time and some coffee for her to truly rid herself of the sleep that she had just woken up from. "and with me doing what i do now, you'd think that wouldn't still be the case." she stretched her arms out, before looking over at sutton. "how've you been? heard you're a rockin' singer now; how's that going?"
she couldn't stop the grin that spread across her face at the way sasha said her name; like no time had passed at all. "yeah, still the same driveway too." she teased. "i'm pretty sure your mom threatened to ban me from riding bikes ever again after that." her eyes softened as she took the other in—sleepy, warm, achingly familiar. "you've always hated mornings. some things don't need character development." at the mention of her singing, she huffed a quiet laugh. "rockin' might be generous, but… it's going. small venues, some studio time. a couple songs getting decent traction online." a small shrug, trying to play it cool. "it's messy and unpredictable and kind of terrifying, but i love it." sutton's gaze lingered a second too long before adding. "didn't think i'd run into you like this though. feels weirdly… nice." she grinned. "and what about you, dj magazine mogul? still taking over the world one late night at a time?"
" well, it would've been hard for you to have considering that you were gone without a trace, " londen drawls, taking a sip of her coffee before placing it down to pick up her pom - mosa. " it's cool. " londen hadn't expected to see farah, sure, but a hook up was just that. something they'd wanted to do that wasn't going to go anywhere, never to be seen again except for ... now, apparently. " i told you, it's cool. i figured that you don't do well when the lights turn on, and that's fine. it's not like i was going to bite you, or something, though. " not unwanted, at least, but it was all water under the bridge as far as londen was concerned. now it could just be a funny story that was told down the line since they would be in the same places if their mutual friend had anything to do with it.
she hated how unbothered londen sounded. the drawl. the casual sip. the it's cool said twice like it really actually was. farah shifted in her seat, fingers tightening briefly around her own glass before she forced them to relax. "i didn't go without a trace," she corrected. "i left before it got weird." eyes flicked up at the mention of the lights turning on, and a faint flush crept up her neck. "that's not… " she exhaled through her nose. "okay, maybe i don't love the morning after interrogation vibe." farah leaned back, crossing one leg over the other, trying to reclaim some composure. "you make it sound like i panicked because i was scared of you." she snickered and shook her head. what was the use of continuing this conversation, anyway. she reached for her drink, taking a slow sip before saying. "so how long have you known logan?"
