Psalms 2:12
“Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less.”
— C. S. Lewis (via amortizing)
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,”
Psalms 1:1

I think it's interesting Jesus was a carpenter
I mean He used to fix up and make furniture and other things. He likely was quite used to using nails. But the whole time, I bet He knew every single time He hit a nail into the wood, He was preparing Himself to be nailed to the cross so that He could fix us up and make us new.
reminder: the life you want is attainable. you’ll get there someday.
I will never stop saying Jesus is patient and kind because it will never stop being true.
an aesthetic that will never go out of style: making others feel loved, needed, and important
mood.
Read the bible more than you listen to sermons, more than you listen to worship music, more than you read books written by believers.
“May the news of the gospel never get old to us. It is the heartbeat of all we do as Christians.”
— Jimmy Needham (via rodpitts)
