Do you see yourself as a son or daughter of the Most High God? Do you see yourself as royalty, worthy of His blessing today? How can we expect His goodness if we go around feeling defeated, depressed, weak, and unworthy? We have to remember that God has given us a royal robe of righteousness through His Son, Jesus. We are already approved by God. We are already accepted by Him and adopted into His family. We are royalty!

“Well,” you might say, “We are just all old sinners saved by grace.” The truth is, we were old sinners, but when we came to Christ, we were made new. We´re not sinners anymore; we are sons and daughters of the Most High God. We have been changed. We have been born into a new family. We are new creatures.

The next time you start feeling defeated, rise up and say, “I am royalty! I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath!” Remember, you are a child of the Most High God, and He has victory and blessing in store for you today!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

“Father in heaven, thank You for choosing me. Thank You for making me an heir of Your promises. I choose to stand in Your righteousness and walk worthy of Your high calling today. In Jesus´ Name. Amen.”

“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest” (Exodus 14:14, AMP)

In life, we’re always going to have critics. We’ll always have difficult people who try to upset us and steal our peace and joy. But, you don’t have to respond to every critic. You can decide to take the high road and let God fight your battles for you.

Sometimes, no matter what you say or do, there are people who aren’t going to accept you. They just don’t want to be at peace with you. In fact, when Jesus sent out His disciples to certain homes, He told them to always speak peace over those homes. And then He said, in effect, “If they don’t receive the peace that you’re offering, then it will come back to you.” That tells me, if you will do your best to be at peace with people, even if they won’t take your peace, the good news is that peace will just come back to you. You’ll not only get your peace, but you’ll get their share as well! That’s double for your trouble! When you do the right thing no matter what is happening, God sees it and rewards it. So choose peace today and walk in the blessing He has for you!
