The taylorswift song ‘Mean’ has such an incredible message in it, that wherever you are there will always be someone that is ‘mean’. When people are nasty to you, it makes you feel like you are wounded and some may even feel like their life is over. It never really clicked to me, but we are all important. Even though there is the queen bee at school they are just as important and worthwhile as the nerd, that sits on their own. At school, there is always a bully and no one is strong enough to stand up to them. When you are at school, nothing else matters and you can’t think of anything else. However, there is a huge world outside school, where you can not get what you want and followers by being nasty to people. Pulling someone down will never help you reach the top. Live your live as you want but remember “be good to people as being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind”.

When you are upset and are feeling 100s of different emotions. The thing that these emotions have in common is that they are all negative feelings of distress and anger. When you feel this way, that nothing is going right, something has to happen in order to change your mood. On a personal level, when I am feeling low and overwhelmed by all my anxieties and worries, I can always count on taylorswift‘s music to feel happier. When you are trying to live your life with your anxieties preventing you from doing what you want or expressing yourself it becomes a problem. I am currently in the process of finding permanent way to minimise my anxieties and to see them as nothing but an irrational thought. This is because I am starting to realise that my anxieties are holding me back from living my life. taylorswift taught me that we all have insecurities and anxieties it is normal, but we need to put them into perspective and not let them take such power over our lives.

Over the passed year I have been trying to comprehend the idea of someone I love very much being ill, as well as exam and friendship stress. I am able to use @taylorswift‘s music and lyrics as lessons to help me cope and feel better. Thank you so much taylorswift!!! xx

Society generally sees making mistakes as a negative thing. However, taylorswift​ told 65,000 people in Hyde Park on Saturday Night that it is okay to make mistakes, ‘it makes you wiser, stronger and smarter and NOT damaged’. These 65,000 people will at some point in their lives be battling their battles either in present moment or in the future. Fighting these battles can put you in a very dark place, that makes you feel that everyone is against you and there is no one that you can talk to because no one will ever understand. However, in my own personal experience, there is always a way out of this dark place and it is your decision when to get out. Even if you just can’t imagine that the situation will ever sort itself out, and you just want to give up. You must change your negative and irrational thoughts and talk to someone because there is always a solution. There are always people who you can speak to whether it be a family member, a friend or someone outside your family like a teacher. You just need to find someone you trust, it might take a while to get back to a good place but you need to enjoy every single day as it comes and look for the improvements in your life.

From the taylorswift‘s song Clean,“Rain came pouring down when I was drowning, that's when I could finally breathe”. This teaches us that when we are in this bad place and you are feeling so low and unhappy, there will always be a way out that will resolve everything which Taylor writes as rain pouring, followed by finally being able to breathe which is finding a solution whether it be speaking to someone or apologising to people you might of upset.

Everyone deals with tensions in their lives of things they are not happy with like their personality or their appearance. People can make you feel so worthless and unimportant. Sometimes in life, it takes along time to realise the most important things. It is so easy to forget due to societies high expectations of others and how people see themselves that every single person is important and special. No matter what anyone else thinks. Taylor Swift said after the album fearless was released, “In the real world, if you have something about yourself that is different, you are lucky, its not a curse”.  It was only when taylorswift said in Hyde Park, last night about peoples importance and uniqueness that I learnt from taylorswift that I am not someone else's opinion of me, I am not going no where because I am not where I want to be yet. But I am my own definition of beautiful, no one else's. These beautiful words of Taylor's brought a tear to my eye because Taylor understands and can relate to the pressures of a teenage girl which is normal. We must be proud of our flaws because they make us different. Just remember the words of taylorswift that the haters are going to hate but we just need to shake it off.

Pitch Perfect 2

I just watched Pitch Perfect 2 for the 4th time at the cinema. Still amazing. Hailee Steinfeld and Anna Kendrick you are both amazing. So excited for it to be out on DVD!! xoxo
