How true!
Running is raw. Your inner workings are exposed to everyone, especially yourself… That’s no accident. The run has gnawed you down to a soul and a road. You are forced to learn who you really are and how your brain works, and sooner or later you realize you are allowed to change yourself. And I think that’s why some people are scared to dedicate themselves fully as runners. Running is facing things deep down that are terrifying.. like failure, pessimism, fear. But the beauty of it all is that running allows you to overcome those things. And maybe that’s what makes it so special.

Love the puppy!!
Trying to look cute last night at the hotel! Overnight stay in time for my grad assessment centre today. Not long to wait til I find out if I'm through to the next round
Knee
So my knee pain is still here so finally saw a doctor today... looks like I probably sprained it last year and it just needs a bit of stability around it to help sort it out! Looks like it's lots of lunges and squats from here on in
Running has taught me to love my brain, my body, and what both can do for me when I use them wisely and appreciate them.”

Feeling this atm!
Really tired of the attitude that eating can “ruin” your progress in the gym. No, fuck you. If you run a mile, that’s a mile you ran. Your legs are stronger, your lungs are stronger, your heart is stronger. I don’t care if you ate an entire cake, you still ran a damn mile.Â
If you view exercise as something that “cancels out” food then you’re gonna have a bad time. If your only exercise goal is to burn calories, I don’t know what to do with you.
So much time for this...Â
Food
So I'm eating a lot more than usual and actually making myself eat after working long event days! I feel weird about it. I've not really put on weight because I'm running so much and I know it's good to be eating properly and trying loads of new foods and eating healthily but I'm struggling a little whenever I think about it. I spent three years denying myself foods I loved to lose weight and now I love trying new foods. I guess it's good!Â
