Mornings at home with Mason... #masonjett
Lucky to have this sweet handsome boy by my side... One of my favorites with my Jax!
This is life as a Mom of two boys... occasionally 😉lol. I can't believe it's already been one month since I wore this pretty dress, put some extra make-up on, got my hair styled glamorously and celebrated my little sister's beautiful Wedding. 💕 (at Okada Manila)
Throw back to the beginning of summer... Our families visited one of the many Florida Springs, a few hours north of us and these two boys had quite a fun-filled day together. Jax and Ashton are wild, adventurous and the epitome of what it's like to have a boy full of energy, curiosity and imagination. I enjoyed taking them out on the lazy river as we pretended to be on a grand adventure and I loved all the things they thought to say and imagined, along the way. #boysloveadventuretime #boylife #boyswillbeboys #boysoutdoors #boysoutdoorfun #candidchildhood #instakids #pixelkids #wildboysafloat #momofboys💙
Surrounded by beautiful ladies, inside and out! 💕
Even the kids had fun ❤️
Mason loved Daddy's cake! 🤣
The Birthday Boy blowing his Birthday 🎂!!!
The Birthday Boy (our Main Man) opening some Birthday gifts 🎁 We love love love him so much!
Lola and Jax Movie Date, to celebrate the end of the school year and the start of summer break! #qualitytimefamily #qualitytimegrandson #movietime (at Carmike Cinema)
Date Night (yup, just the two of us)!!! At last...
This story will stay with me for a long time... most likely forever! Celeste Ng has managed to write down in so many words such a detailed, thoroughly fabricated portrayal of a mixed family and all it's complexities, the cause and effect of our childhood experiences, alongside its outcome as we navigate through adolescence, adulthood and even more specifically, parenthood. It is a story that highlights societal expectations in all its' varying forms and influences, as well as one's individual interpretation of what may be common experiences between siblings.... how siblings from the same family, and upbringing can differ so greatly in their outlook on life and world and how even parents, may without much great notice, can differ in their treatment towards their children, creating almost individual worlds for them, depending on their expectation for them, within the world they see them fit into. The layers of this story are countless and the depth in which it explores relationships and family dynamic is so impressive and tremendously well thought out. "Everything I Never Told You" is a truly special and important book. It is on my own list of modern books that should be classics. It should be read, talked about, dissected, evaluated and embraced. It is one of the most memorable stories I have ever read! No wonder it is a New York Times Bestseller and Notable Book of the Year. It is so intricately crafted and every moment revealed, so fascinatingly introspective and insightful. The characters have come to life for me in such powerful and convincing ways, that each of their voices I can hear so distinctly. There was so much strength and definition to each of their personalities... it would be difficult to ever forget them... Lydia, Nathan, Hannah, Marilyn and James... they are realer than real... They exist in our world, living identical lives to people we may know, just perhaps with different names. I highly, undoubtedly recommend this book for any fictional readers and any readers interested in stories of identity, gender roles, family, relationships, death, grief, love and life.
