Being comatose doesn't necessarily mean she's dead but if we're considering the other people Christina kept comatose, then she might be. William was only comatose cuz Christina wanted to keep harvesting his blood, so she keep his body "alive" ,same thing with Dell, in ep.9 we see Ruby turning off some type of valve then Dell exhales for the last time, in that scene Ruby was letting Dell go since she didn't want to transform into her anymore (therefore there was no need to keep her comatose/alive).

Honestly, there's a lot of leeway to bring Ruby back but like, did the writers think of that when they wrote her death?? Don't think so.....

There were a few things I still found confusing at the end. Montrose mentioned there were other lodges but that was never explored further. Leti stated that now they had all the power because they took it from White folks, but how do we know there aren't more ? Also Tic mentioned that there are several different timelines and the future is subjective. If that's the case, couldn't there be a timeline where he actually lives ?

well she needed william alive to *keep* using his blood bc dead people don’t produce blood but if she was only gonna transform into Ruby once, she wouldn’t need an infinite source so...
