percy is almost always out in the sun— like, so much so that you begin to wonder how he hasnt gotten sunscreen yet. he refuses sunscreen a lot of the time
super super super awkward boy because of his lonely childhood
this mans love language is quality time & acts of service
he has the most infectious laugh and grin ever. you will never not be smiling around him
suupa respectful and sweet with great manners; sally raised this boy right! he will randomly compliment you, or tell you that something reminded him of you, etc etc
sometimes, though, his temper does get the best of him. at the end of the day, hes simply a teenager whos been put through much more than he deserved. you two always manage to talk it out since neither of you really wants the other one to be upset
percy likes to doodle; rachel got him into it. she told him it was a nice way to relieve stress. he draws when hes bored and has nothing to do. he shows all of his doodles to you, even if they totally suck
basketball dude. he makes you watch the games with him
he teaches you cool skateboard tricks in your free time
percy developed an intense fascination with prehistoric aquatic creatures at some point. he likes to share fun facts he learned about them with you. he can super nerdy at times, but you love it
on the topic of being nerdy, percy loves ranting about his interests with you. especially if theyre shared interests. even if he doesnt know the book or show or movie or whatever topic youre talking about, he will still gladly listen to you speak for hours with zero interruption. he just loves seeing you so excited
this man drinks loads of caffeine because hes almost always exhausted
he gets constant headaches
percy has the most gorgeous sea green eyes and the longest, most luscious lashes in the entire world. you cant help but get lost in them
always smells like the beach. coconut and sea salt and sandalwood and all that good stuff.
everything in his cabin has sand on it
mulans biggest fan he loves that movie to death. also unironically likes sharknado
his favorite type of kiss is a cheek kiss, especially after he accomplishes something (even if its the simplest task). basically his favorite reward.
percy has the best music taste ever. he is always willing to give you song / band recommendations or share his headphones with you. it makes him so happy whenever somebody likes his music
lots and lots of freckles. you try to count them, but always end up losing track of what number you were on

“sweet girl.” percy whispered into your hair as your eyes began to flutter very conspicuously.
“mm?” you managed to force your eyes to his from your throne in his arms.
“you’re tired.” he said for the third time.
“no.” you mumbled, suppressing a yawn.
you had been watching a myriad of cartoon in his bed in cabin 3 at 1:00am after you had finally managed you sneak out of your cabin to see him, bundled up his his lap as you fought sleep.
these moment were rare due to chiron’s strict curfews; 9pm everyone must be in their cabins.
but, of course, this ludicrous rule didn’t apply to a love love yours, hence why you had tumbled out of your window and into his arms.
“yes, you are, sweetheart.” he chuckled as he began to lay back a bit more into the pillow. “you had your eyes shut for the entirety of raven queen speaking to apple white.”
your sleepy brain took a few moments to catch up. “when?” you murmured.
he laughs.
oh, he was beautiful.
“just then.” he started to comb his fingers through your hair, drawing it back in order to begin a braid, knowing you liked your hair protected in sleep.
“oh.” you yawned once more, half delirious from your exhaustion. “wasn’t that blondie?”
give a girl a break! it’s hard being the prettiest girl at camp with the hottest boyfriend.
he let out a small huff of a laugh, trying not jostle you too much as he braided your hair. “no, sweet girl, that was apple white- that’s blondie locks.”
“oh, you’re right.” you giggled quietly as you rest your temple on his jaw, watching the laptop screen.
my goodness, you were tired of you couldn’t tell the difference between those two.
percy tied off your braid with the hair tie he permanently kept on his wrist. “your eyes are closed again.” he whispers.
your eyes snapped p open again. “no they’re not.” you watch the character speak. “see that’s kitty cheshire and that’s c.a. cupid.”
he snickered as he tucked your favourite stuffed animal into your arms. “baby, that’s maddie.”
you tried to open your eyes a little more, only to realise that he was in fact right, it wasn’t kitty cheshire- oh, but come on! they had the same colour schemes didnt they? kind of? “oh.”
“yeah, that’s right oh.” percy chuckled as he pressed a kiss to your brow. “close those pretty eyes and go to sleep.”
“but what about-” you began to mumble, worrying about sneaking back into your cabin before anyone realised, waking up to do your hair and makeup.
“sweet girl.” he cut you off softly yet firmly. “i’ll take care of it, i’ll make sure you don’t get in trouble and that you have enough time to do your beautiful makeup and shiny hair- even though i don’t think you need it.” he reassured gently.
“you will?” you mumbled, lashes already fluttering against your eyelids as you slowly sagged into your boyfriend’s strong arms.
“yes.”
“promise?”
“always, darling girl.” he whisper into your hair.
“mm.” you sighed contently as he shut down the laptop as set it aside, slowly and so so tenderly shifting you to a more comfortable position. “i love you.”
“shhh…” percy spoke into your forehead, praying a kiss there. “i love you more.” he turned off the lamp.
you were drifting off in the strong, protective arms of your boyfriend before you could even have the ‘no, i love you more’ argument.
