Blurr spent the entirety of the comic allowing Shockwave absolutely disgusting level of familiarity. Completely scandalous by fae standards ajkfkfb

As a demon Shockwave sometimes uses those ribbons as a convenient handle because he is a bit afraid to accidentally squeeze Blurr too much or poke him with his giant claws. Shockwave quite literally uses Blurr's wings to drag Blurr around in the same way a mama cat would carry her kitten by the scruff. And Blurr just always lets him :D

IHLE Ch. 67 Mirrors and monsters

Snippet:

The Thousand Mirror Tower gleamed in the sun, combined with the bright blue, cloudless skies and greenery, the scene looked deceptively peaceful for one of the largest and most well-known dungeons.

Himmel, Eisen, Heiter and Frieren gazed up at the imposing, yet mesmerizing structure. It had been just curiosity that initially led them there. The tower had been along their road to the Empire’s northern border and the demon territory, plus it was a well-known dungeon that was still mostly unexplored and held many treasures along with danger. Frieren was especially curious if there might be some ancient scrolls or grimoires there, after all the tower had been built long before she was born. So, they did another little detour to reach the fabled dungeon, however, the closer they got, Himmel felt a creeping sense of danger.

Heiter and Frieren looked upon the tower with amazement, the whole building was brimming with mana and the structure looked ancient, yet was not crumbling or damaged at all by the passage of time. The polished stone and crystals still gleamed under the sunlight. Himmel, however, felt more wary. The magic was impressive but he could see it also twisting and wrapping around the whole tower, almost as if the whole place was warped and distorted, plus that feeling of danger was still at the back of his head. Underneath his cloak, his hand moved to the hilt of his sword and held it tightly for a moment, the familiar grooves and weight helped him center himself and ease the instincts buzzing as ‘danger’ to him.

“Wow! This certainly looks impressive!” Heiter couldn’t help but whistle in amazement “It looks like it touches the skies!”

“Must have taken a lot of time and effort to build something that tall and sturdy to last for so long.” – Esen gazed up and up.

“Indeed. This tower has been around long before I was even born, to keep it intact for this time, the magic used is definitely amazing. There might be some scrolls left behind by the builders.” – Frieren pointed at the tower.

“We must be careful.” Himmel warned them “Something doesn’t feel quite right.”

Hering his words and the look on his face, the others immediately dropped the relaxed postures. Eisen shifted his stance while Heiter and Frieren did a quick scan of the nearby area with their mana sense… but there was nothing suspicious they could find. They turned to Himmel, only to see his staring up with a slight frown. Was it something about the tower or rather… something inside it? They could not tell- the dungeon was massive and higher than any building built by man, no wonder people thought the gods built it. There was no telling what might lie inside it.

Also it’s up to you to interpret what exactly Shockwave is doing because I couldn’t manage to find a good way to visually express “a hundred of very ticklish kisses” without drawing a hundred of panels. Or like. Writing ((mwah)) a hundred times.

This freaking update was drawn and then completely redrawn like four or five times now oh my god. I was trying to make Shockwave and Mirage to discuss how the fuck Shockwave keeps knowing where to go but it always looked so stupid. Finally I figured. It looked stupid because only a moron would explain to his enemy how he wins in something before he actually won. Shockwave is not that stupid so he gets to achieve finding Blurr first and brag about his strategy later. Anyway. ThE CREATURE. I missed the creature~

Blurr is trying to decide which emotion would be appropriate as a response to the pile of “his” corpses. Mirage is trying to play 5D chess. Shockwave is apparently cheating.

Don’t worry I won’t make you read 100+ pages of Shockwave looking for his idiot. Next part is the reunion :D
