Talk to the Palm

I’m here to tell you that I will never, EVER be over flower and palm prints- when it comes to wallcovering, fabric, art, LIFE. When I first saw the famous Beverly Hills Hotel “Martinique” banana leaf wallpaper years ago (devastatingly, never in person), I knew it would stay with me forever. The juxtaposition of this beautiful organic, natural element as an oversized, exaggerated graphic pattern is pure harmony in my world.

 Flower patterns and leaf patterns are my favorite things, so I have been so psyched that palm prints are SO IN RN. And also stressed bc every time I see a palm print, I have the undeniable feeling I get when I REALLY, REALLY love something- which is basically, “OMG THAT IS SO ME AND IF I DONT HAVE IT, I WILL NOT BE ME.” But that’s an issue for another day/therapist. I wanted to compile some of my favorite palm findings this season- and because I def couldn’t even afford to stay at the BHH and see my beloved palms in person, I’m going to stick with a $150 budget. So... talk to the palm cause they will always be the bomb.

The Art of Plating

Food as art is my absolute favorite kind. Beautiful plating is a true art form and it may make it that much more difficult for me to stop staring and actually begin eating, but once I do, the food becomes even more memorable and enjoyable.
