I usually don’t reblog things like this often, but these are words I try to live by in my relationship.

Sometimes I falter and let myself get the best of the situation, but I try really hard! I accept my mistakes and it’s hard to be like “WOW I was being a jerk and I’m really sorry that I hurt you,” it’s so hard to say “I messed up.”

But I value what I have more than being right about a fact or being upset over something trivial. So it’s hard, but I do my best to apologize when I know that I’m wrong and I hurt someone.
