Money spell tips ~

These are things that I've started doing that have worked for me.

$ I know we all know that green = money. However, why not give that green candle some back up by using supporting colours.

* My favourites: gold for wealth and prosperity, brown to inspire financial stability, orange for good fortune and success

$ On the topic of candles, carve a sigil into the candle before burning it! It can be whatever you want. I honestly I usually just do something super basic incorporating the amount of money that I'm looking to get.

$ BE SPECIFIC AND CLOSE LOOPHOLES. Check out the linked posts, seriously! They are very informative and stuff I wished I learned long ago. Specify the amount you need, when you need it, if you're looking for extra cash, wanting to win money you entered in, etc. Whatever it may be - be specific. Tell the universe (or whoever/whatever you work with) what you need!

$ Do your spell with your purse/wallet/debit card, etc on or around your work space! I almost always use candles for my spell, so I will leave my wallet with the candle while it finishes burning. Really emphasize where you need this money to go - to you, in your wallet!

$ If you created a sigil, also put this sigil in your wallet or purse. If you are making a spell jar, put the sigil into your spell jar or on it. I usually just write on the jar itself, but you can do whatever you want.

$ Add money to your spell jar if you're making one. It doesn't have to be much, I usually just throw in some pocket change. To emphasize that you want to see your money grow!

$ Also, don't be afraid to get creative with charging your sigils. I use the pocket change I put in my spell jar to charge it while I work on everything else. I simply draw out all the sigils I'll be using on some paper and place coins on top of them. Do this with intention.

$ If you make a spell jar, keep it with your wallet or keep it in your purse. When I am done the spell and the candles are burned down - I immediately transfer it to my purse and carry it with my everywhere until it's done. It's going to attract wealth to my purse.

$ Don't forget to cleanse your tools. Including all the stuff you use for the spell. If you use a jar, cleanse the jar inside and out and the lid.

$ Boost your money spell by doing it on a Thursday!

When doing any sort of witchcraft, do you have a way to tell between what's paranoia/anxiety/overthinking and your genuine intuition? I have struggled being able to tell the last couple years and it's been really hard for me to continue my practice because of it

Hey there! I know how you feel, i've been in the same boat XD I have GAD so it's something that's a constant struggle. I'm currently reading Year of the Witch by Temperance Alden and she has a really, really good technique for finding your intuition. I wrote about it a bit here!

When I get to my book i'll post it and share it.

But the gist of it is you sit with your anxieties, ground yourself, and wait for the thoughts and beliefs that filter in afterwards. As anxious people, we're always berated by our anxieties. But giving yourself time to take deep breaths and ground yourself and than observe your thoughts that come afterwards is a good way to find your intuition. Lastly, when you meditate and you work on your intuition, it helps to emphasize that you only see and attract that which is good for you.

a written letter (fancy stationary and taking your time with your handwriting would show a lot of energy being put forth, but any letter with do)

Basic herbs and their symbolism

Clove -Exorcism, love, money, and protection 

Lavender - Magickal uses include love, protection, healing, sleep, purification, and peace. Promotes healing from depression. Great in sleep pillows and bath spells.

chamomile -Love, healing, and reducing stress, success, hex breaking.

Basil - Love, exorcism, wealth, sympathy, and protection. Dispels confusion, fears & weakness. Drives off hostile spirits. Associated with Candlemas.

Bay leaves - Protection, good fortune, success, purification, strength, healing and psychic powers. Write wishes on fresh leaves and then burn the leaves to make the wishes come true.

Mint - Promotes energy, communication and vitality. Draws customers to a business. Use dried leaves to stuff a green poppet for healing. Can also draw good spirits when used during a ritual.

Cinnamon - Spirituality, success, healing, protection, power, love, luck, strength, and prosperity.

Aloe - Protection, love and luck. Place on the grave of a loved one to promote peaceful energy. Thought to relieve loneliness and assist with success.

Rose - Magical uses include divine love, close friendships, domestic peace/happiness, and lasting relationships.

Rosemary - Health, love, protection, purification. Can be used as a substitute for many herbs. Associated with Fey.

Sage - Used for self purification and dealing with grief and loss. Carried to improve mental ability and bring wisdom. Used in healing sachets & incense. Promotes spiritual, mental, emotional & physical health and longevity. Removes negative energy.

Witch Hazel -Magickal uses include chastity and protection. Carry to ease grief over a lost love. Use in a sachet to reduce passions. Use in love spells and spells to ward off evil. 

Vanilla Bean - Magickal uses include love, lust, passion, and restoring lost energy. Carried to increase energy & strengthen mental abilities.

Vinegar - Banishing, binding, averting evil.

Tangerine - Promotes energy, strength, and vitality. Awakens joy and dissolves negativity.

Sunflower - Energy, protection, power, wisdom, and wishes.

Thistle - Healing, protection. Use in sachet or amulet to aid in speedy recovery from surgery or illness. Hang in the home to ward off thieves and unwanted visitors.

Thyme - Attracts loyalty, affection, and the good opinion of others. Wear a sprig to ward off unbearable grief or provide strength and courage when needed. Burn or hang in the home for banishing, purification, and to attract good health for all occupants.

Most of these herbs can be found around the kitchen making them easy herbs for beginner witches’.

These ingredients can be used in spells rituals, spell jars and satchels.
