There was once a young woman. She was 21. She went to university, she studied, just like everyone else.
One evening she was in her dorm room and asked a friend of hers for pain killers, but later she texted him that she found one in her room so there's no need for him to bring one and she will be going to sleep. But he went to her room anyways.
The girl didn't want it to happen. She said no, but it didn't stop her "friend". The next morning the guy confessed her everything in a text and apologized. He said that nobody deserves what he did to her. About that, he was right.
After everything the girl went to the hospital, with her panties painted red by her blood, so a doctor could see her. This time, the doctor was the one, who said no. Why? Because the doctor didn't want to go to the court for days to testify in the case of the girl.
Next she went to the police, but they also sent her away.
Later she could take the case to the jury. She had a clear evidence and a testimony. Who would have thought that years later the jury will acquit the abuser by saying: non-consent is not rape.
This is not a made up story, this is real life. A girl from Hungary has went trough all of this. The healthcare system, the justice system, even her own school (that provided her the said dorm) has failed her. Students have been protesting and showing their support towards the victim by standing at the enterance of her university at morning for 10 minutes in silence. The student councils of other universities also expressed their support towards the victim. A petition has started so maybe one day the hungarian criminal code will clearly state: ONLY YES MEANS YES.
And even now, some still blame the victim.
I am disappointed. Extremely disappointed in this country, in people, in society. It is truly disappointing that even with evidence, even with the testimony of the abuser, she couldn't win the case.
I have watched a bunch of videos, read many articles about this since the judgement happened. And besides signing the petition the only thing I can do is spreading information.
I know this is not the kind of thing I usually post. But I don't know how many people know about this globally. I wanted to share this with you guys because people should know about this. I will also leave the link of the petition here, you can sing it if you're over 16, and most importantly, only if you want to. Because nobody deserves to be forced into something they don't want.

I was worried this is gonna happen, so I'm just gonna be honest.
First of all, I wrote that because somebody asked me to. I posted that I write for kiof too (I shared that before their scandal but that doesn't really matter). I'm working on other groups' asks too I just don't have the inspiration for them.
Second of all, they apologised for what they did and I like to think the best of people, I want to think that they learned their lesson. I still like their music therefore I still post about them if somebody has an ask about them, it's that simple.
I don't think I wrote anything hurtful in that fic, if I did then sorry, tell me that because I don't want to discriminate anyone. But if you just don't want to engage with anything about kiof you scroll, you ignore the post, it's that simple. I don't wanna argue about it. If you want to, you read it, if you don't want to, you don't read it.
In my language we have a saying, which I think literally translates to 'live and let others live' (élni és élni hagyni), and I like to live by that. So if in the future I get a comment about this topic I'm just going to ignore that.

When you got home Natty couldn't peal your arms off of her, not like she tried to. You went to a house party your best friend hosted. Your girlfriend was okay with you having fun with your friends (as trust is part of a healthy relationship). Around midnight you were already pretty drunk talking nonsense to everyone and suddenly you missed your girlfriend more than anything. So you did the most reasonable thing: called her. As soon as she picked up the phone you couldn't shut up about how pretty she is, how you can't wait to see her again, kiss her again eventhough you just left her place a few hours ago. "Baby you must be so drunk, I hope you'll remember this by the morning" she answered laughing "but I'm sure I can refresh your memory if not"
Haneul
You were with your friends all night, they took you to Haneul's place around four or five. It was a struggle to get you go up on the stairs but luckily no one got hurt. You just entered her place she told you to take your shoes off while she gets you some water. You kicked your shoes off as fast as you could and ran to your girlfriend hugging her waist from the back. "I love you" ypu said as you started to kiss her neck "you're so pretty" and another kiss "so beautiful" one more kiss "and hot" and the next kiss landed on her cheek. "Well thank you" she answered as she handed over a glass of water "I promise if you drink this water now and go to bed, I will be yours tomorrow night".

The same thing happened one day when you got bored at home. You didn't expect Yudai to come over that day so you just cuddled the stuffed animal while listening to some soft music. But K had different plans, so he came over using his spare keys to surprise you with take out from your favourite fast food restaurant. He put the food down on the kitchen table and started to look for you. When he opened the door to your room where he heard the music playing from his jaw dropped. Thankfully you were facing the door so you immediately noticed him and lifted your head with a huge smile while calling his name rambling something about how happy you were to see him. "You look so cute" he started, which made you laugh but you wouldn't let go of the stuffed animal you were holding. "But I think since I'm here, you don't need that anymore" he said as he took the plushie from you. You really wanted to act like you were offended by his actions but the moment he hugged you all you could do was smile and hug him back tightly, like you were afraid that he could be ripped out of your arms, just like what happened to that plushie moments ago.

Jo might be a 6ft tall man but you have no doubt that he is actually pocket sized. Sometimes he's so cute, so sweet that all you want to do is just put him in your pocket. You got the same feeling when you first saw him cuddling a huge plushie. You were on your way to the boys' dorms but you forgot to tell your boyfriend you were coming over. When you knocked on the door a surprised K greeted you. He said he didn't expect you to come over today because usually when you do, Jo is already so excited to see you he tells everyone you're coming, despite his normally silent nature. That's when you remembered you didn't even tell your boyfriend you would be making an appearance today but you tought it wasn't a big deal. However it turned out to be a big deal to Jo, because when you opened the door and saw him cuddling a stuffed animal, noticing your presence he became so embarassed. He was red like a tomato silently scolding you for not telling you were coming over. You tried to calm him down by saying you tought he was cute with that plushie but it just made his cheeks burn in a brighter shade of red.

You started dating around his birthday so then you didn't know what to give him as a gift. You ended up buying him a huge bunny plushie saying that it looked exactly like him. Since then you only saw it in the corner of his bed, always at the same place, you had no idea he ever muved it from there sometimes to use it as a cuddle buddy. But one day when you went over unannounced you caught him in the act. Originally you didn't think you could make it to his place that day and that's what you told him, but your plans changed and you found yourself knocking on the door of the dorms. When Taki opened the door he just let you know that Harua was in his room, so without thinking twice you just entered there without knocking. And there was he. Lying on the bed, phone in his hands while hugging the bunny that was almost as big as him. You let out a soft laugh wich didn't go unnoticed by him. He was so happy to see you, he immediatly run to you, hugging you tightly. Ofcourse you hugged him back saying 'it seemed for a moment that you liked hugging someone else much more' to wich Harua simply replied 'nothing is better than cuddling with you'.
Taki
You knew he was coming over. You even left your apartment's door open for him. But while waiting for Taki you decided to scroll on your phone because time just flies when you do that. The most comfortable position for that activity is when you cuddle your giant plushie. Ofcourse you didn't think it was a big deal, why would it be, it's just a stuffed animal. But when Taki entered the room, wanting to surprise you, he just HAD to be all dramatuc about it. The boy let out a loud gasp which grabbed your attention and when you looked at his face you could he looked like he was betrayed. 'Traitor' he mumbled under his breath. 'I can explain-' you started going along with the dramatic play. But you were too late. He was already all over you starting a tickling war because you had the audacity to cuddle a plushie.
Maki
You got a huge dog plushie from him before he left for tour. He told you that if you wanted to cuddle him while he's away, this plushie is almost as good as him. Almost! You really couldn't wait until he comes back, but somehow you mixed up the dates. You tought he would affive only tomorrow while Maki was already on his way to your place from the airport. You were craving some cuddles so you grabbed the huge dog plushie and hugged it tightly to your chest, wishing you could finally hug your boyfriend. Little did you know it would become reality sooner than you'd expect. Maki got into your apartment with his spare key and tought you'll be in your room. He was right, but the sight before him was unexpected. "I gave you that plushie for days when I'm away, but I told you I'm coming back today" he said pretending he was offended. You tried to explain that you probably just mixed up the dates but he was busy playing the hurt boyfriend. "Come on, your cuddles are way better anyways" you begged to him at this point. He couldn't take the act anymore and bursted out laughing. "I know" he said as he climbed on the bed to finally hug you after such a long time.

First you were very calm about it, still figuring out how everything works but after you got into it, there was no stopping. You tried to accomplish more and more together in the game and playfully scolded each other when someone made a mistake. You had so much fun together that you didn't even realise how much time passed since you started. The sun slowly switched places with the moon and stars appeared on the dark sky one by one. When you noticed the time your were shocked about how long ago you started this game, but you didn't want to go home yet. So at the end you decided to turn this afternoon and evening spent together into a sleepover because you just didn't want to leave your boyfriend's side. Not tonight.
Riwoo
You planned a movie date for the evening at your place. What you didn't calculate with was the huge storm that decided to start right after he arrived and soon the electricity went off in the whole building thanks to that. So the movie date became impossible. You lit some candles to have something light up the place, it actually turned out pretty romantic. You ended up eating all the snacks you guys bought for the movie while waiting for the power to come back. After an hour or two everything went back to normal, the lamp working again, the tv turned on and the internet connection came back. However, Riwoo and you had so much fun doing nothing in the dim lights of the candles that movie night already became forgotten, you didn't want anything else than to just be with, and focus on each other. And maybe a little bit more snacks.

Jaehyun is a weird guy. Everybody and their mother knows that. Therefore when he plans a date you never know what to expect. But something that you actually didn't expect was for him to put together the most romantic dinner ever known to mankind at his place. He put candles on the table, gave you your favourite flowers and cooked a delicious male by himself (or at least that's what he claimed). When you finished you didn't want to leave yet. It was a gesture that showed you how much he really loves and adores you and you didn't want this moment to end. So you just kept sitting at the table talking, really opening up to each other for hours straight. This was probably the point when both of you realised how serious you are about this relationship. And another thing that you realised that night was that Jaehyun can actually stay calm for more than an hour long.

You were at his place, laying in his bed, cuddling. He hugged you so softly but still so close, your head on his chest. You could hear his heartbeat. It was calm. You made it calm. The same way he calmed you down. At that moment it didn't matter how stressful of a day you've had, how angry you were at the whole world just hours ago. But as soon as you were with him everything seemed to suddenly get better. And there you were, laying down with him as a calm melody was playing on his vinyl player. Words weren't needed in that moment. You were planning to lay there for a few minutes, but minutes soon turned into an hour and then more and more hours. "It's getting late" Taesan whispered to you "shouldn't you go home?" You looked up at him, right into those beautiful eyes of his, and said "right now all I want is to be with you"

You know how much Leehan loves watching his fish even for hours straight. At first you didn't understand; how can someone be so entertained by some fish? they're not even doing anything special, just swimming around, how can someone just stare at them non-stop? But it seems like tonight you finally understood. Today was not just long but also really stressful for you and you didn't want anything else than just some comfort so you came over to your boyfriend's. After eating something the two of you just settled in front of his fish tank watching as the little animals swim around in the water. Your head resting on his shoulder, calmly breathing in and out, non of you breaking the silence. You didn't know how much time has passed since you sat down there but honestly, you didn't care. You felt closer to him than ever before, it gave you so much comfort, and all you did was watching some fish in the dim light.
Woonhak
Woonhak LOVES basketball and he also LOVES you so one day he just decided that he's going to teach you how to play. In the late afternoon of a random week day you two went out to the basketball court nearby and started to play together. He thought you a lot, even got carried away to teach you every single trick he knows so much that by the time you were too tired to move anymore the sun has settled, it was dark already. But neither of you wanted to go home so, the caring boyfriend he is, Woonhak put his hoodie on the ground and the two of you laid your heads on it to watch the stars while talking about everything and nothing. Calm moments with him were rare, not that you complained about it, his active personality is one of the reasons why you fell in love with him, but still, you cherished every second spent together with him, even if you are just doing nothing together.
