Lestat, I've been reading your books ever since I was a young girl. You are, dare I say it, my first love. Now I've heard the philosophy that that you immortals are unchanging, but I disagree with this. We are both very different people now than we were fifteen years ago. What I wouldn't give for a few brief moments with you here in these hot, New York nights. Please, tell me where you go and what you do. Come fly with me and be my love and we will all those pleasure prove.
That’s quite the love letter…but are you sure that I’ve changed?
Would it truly be romantic if I showed up on your doorstep or your worst nightmare?
Not in the same sense that we mortals change You are you and that is forever, but I’m sure you have adapted to fit the times, yes? It’s only been over two hundred years.
To be truthful, I would be shy. I talk a big game but in person I would be tongue-tied, at least for a little bit. Also it would be slightly embarrassing to invite you in to my dingy little apartment. I’m not a rich woman.
But I don’t think I would have anything to fear from you. You love the innocent mortal, you’ve said so yourself in your books. I don’t think you’d want to harm someone who feels nothing but love for you. It’s our addiction, love.
