             a full day of play can wear out even the most energetic of children. chara was one of those kids, worn out in the field of flowers, would’ve fallen asleep peacefully there as well, if they’re mother hadn’t ventured out to the ruins to find them in such a state. they look up, crimson hues softening slightly at the sight of her. never before did chara think a monster could give off such a feeling security that in their arms, they felt pure peace. even as they’re lifted they don’t fight it, simply indulge in this feeling of motherly-love. how long had it been since you’ve felt it? in fact, have you ever experienced such a glorious feeling? who knows, since coming to the underground slowly but surely, those bad memories become more repressed, replaced by only sweet, happy ones. at the question they nod their weary head, snuggling close into her purple gown, letting out a soft yawn. then you lift your head once more, forcing those sleepy eyes of yours open, before asking a simple question of your own.
