Are you/do you want to be in love?
I’m not... But I do. It’s just a matter of actually having those stars align in the right way. Just hasn’t happened yet.

alexandriaxblackwood:
“You’re adorable,” she chuckled. “I love a good Mojito. My question for you wold be, how much of an edge do want taken off? Do you want something light or strong?”
“Pfft...” Lyall dismissed the compliment awkwardly, “How much of an edge can we take off before I regret it tomorrow?”
nicholasthompson:
“You’re comin’ from one end of the spectrum and I’m on the other. I guess I had a pretty happy life?” he wondered out loud. “I don’t recall any harbored resentment towards anyone. Can’t relate.”
“It wasn’t so much resentment as severe anxiety in my case.” Lyall chuckled and rubbed at the back of his neck.
“I’ve found I like Mojitos. That’s a fun word. Mo-ji-to.” Lyall laughed, “I can’t believe I ever swore off alcohol. Really takes the edge off. Any recommendations? I have no idea what anything is.”
“I know my birthday was almost a month ago, but like, I can’t top thinking about this, you know?” Tyson sighed as he took a sip of his beer. He had been trying to lay off the alcohol but it just seemed like a reasonable moment. “Like, I’ve always been super weird around my birthday. I get all like, existential and shit but like, when I was in undergrad, I was auditing a class at another school with a friend of my dad’s. It was a class on death and dying and one of the field trips was to the county coroner’s office for an autopsy or whatever. Well, with snow days and shit, the trip fell on my birthday. I spent my 22nd birthday watching a woman get examined. While it was one of the most important trips of my life, I think it really fucked me up. Like, all I could think about was how those people didn’t know they were going to die. Isn’t that wild?” He wasn’t really expecting an answer from the other. How could they? It was a weird thought that he merely needed to get off his chest, something that had been weighing him down with some sort of irrational guilt that he couldn’t shake. “But uh, anyway, how are you?”
“I don’t think that’s a fun activity on a normal day.” Lyall replied after Tyson was done with his story. “I understand though. My father was just making tea one day and just boom! Aneurysm. It just happens. I actually try to keep it in mind so I stop stressing myself out so much. You know? Try to enjoy what I can just in case it’s gone tomorrow.” he shrugged his shoulders. “Just got back from London, going through the process of trying to recruit my old clients again.”
“So this will probably sound weird and creepy, but I promise I’m not a nutcase. I just would really like to sketch you.” She nodded as she twirled her hair nervously. “I’m just trying to develop my skills and I like drawing real people when I can. So….would that be okay?”
“Me?” Lyall questioned, pointing at himself. For emphasis he glanced around him, in case there was somebody else she was referring to. “Why?” Was his next question.
Favorite song at the moment?
You’re the most beautiful thing I’ll ever leave behind.

“My best accessory,” Dani answered as she pointed down to her chest, waving off the towel before she started tp at herself dry, “You haven’t gotten this place cleaned up yet? I don’t clean, but I’m a hell of an organizer and designer.”
Lyall only looked briefly, jerking his head away as soon as he realized what she was getting at. “Ah. I see.” He responded with a clearing of his throat. “Well, I was just gone for two months so it was a hassle just getting the dust off of everything.” He glanced around at the room with a shrug, “Who am I trying to impress anyway?”
nicholasthompson:
“I don’t know how to give solitude when she has to come from her room to demand something every hour. You’re very comforting, aren’t you?”
“Well then I’m lost. I was just an asocial child, I guess. I’m definitely no Super Nanny.”
another day of being a bisexual disaster
“Is there a way to actually make teenagers happy, or is miserable hostility just a thing I’m going to have to deal with now?”
“When I was that age the only thing that made me happy was solitude. I wish you luck. Teenagers are monsters.”
“Shit, sorry to bust in on you like this.” Daniela stood inside their doorway now, dripping wet, shivering slightly as she rung out her hair, “Bad day to not take my car and walk instead, that’s like – freezing fucking rain; mís pezòneś could cut glass right now, do you got a towel?”
“Your what now?” Lyall questioned as he stepped aside for her to come in. “I do but I must warn you, I’ve been out of my studio for a few months so they’re probably dusty.” He crossed the small studio and retrieved a towel from a cabinet.

Movie Night - [Ry and Ly]
Ryan honestly liked hanging out with Lyall because he felt like they were alike. Ryan felt lonely all the time because he was terrible at talking to people and he was also reserve and so he did not have that many friends. Ryan sat down as he placed tons of sweet that he had gotten before coming to his friends place for a movie night. “So, I have doughnuts, sugar cookies, chips and popcorn,” he said with a warm smile on his face. “What movie should we watch?” @loverboylyall
Lyall looked over the food on the coffee table with appreciation as he weighed his options of what to start with. In the end he settled on a handful of popcorn before he lounged back onto his couch. “Good question. What genres are you into?”
What is your favorite board game?
I’m more of a card game person, I think... But I guess I’ve always liked Clue. I like a bit of mystery.
