as you get older, you realize that you’re not always right and there’s so many things you could’ve handled better, so many situations where you could’ve been kinder and all you can really do is forgive yourself and let your mistakes make you a better person.

Shattered hearts beat
I feel the shift in the universe, I know you're not around. It's confirmed by the words of all my loved ones and a cerulean hospital gown. They ask me how I feel and I'm offended by their thoughts. This is my world, it's not for you to understand. I dont want the hardest of loves if it only brings the hardest of loss. I pray for you, to have you back, even for just a fleeting moment. I just want to hear you and what you'd say. Your beautiful mind, soul, but it's been silenced, fucking stolen. I don't feel alive without you around. So cold and so quiet I can't hear a sound. Drowning in the void, I pray endless. The amount of resentment couldn't be forgiven. Suddenly my mind is beyond the wonder. I pull myself together, I'm one day younger. My eyes are filled with an eerie scene, your last moments have become my waking dream. I rush to a car with a faint beating heart. With all my might, pull your life into my arms. You're already there but I deny a kiss from death and in my selfish mind, I swear I feel your breath. You look up at me with confusion in your eyes, I know it's not real yet I try not cry. Everything's fine, now that I've got you. You deserve nothing but perfection, even if it's not true. From the wretched death gripped clothes I ripped you free. No worries I whimpered as I fell to my knees. So innocent you muttered, "remember the boiler is busted?" You wouldn't feel a thing, just purely making you clean. I'll never forget your favorite half shaven face and one last starlet sparkle in your eye. You whispered in my ear a token of memorable reprise. Your imprinting everlong wisdom I'd regret to forget. You assured in my heart with the best of intent. Too precious for words, this world did not deserve you. Swallow the burn in the midst of this self inflicting pain, I say goodbye to my beautiful rescue.
I WAS SO AFRAID OF ANTIDEPRESSANTS, BUT THEY CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER. IT TOOK 4 DIFFERENT MEDICATIONS BUT I FEEL GREAT NOW-MOTIVATED, LESS TIRED, LESS ANXIOUS, LESS DEPRESSED, ALL CAPS
The only creative thing that took a hit when I got on SSRIs was my body horror doodles, because I made those as catharsis when I was in the middle of major depressio/anxiety breakdowns. Meds also helped me be able to actually take criticism and improve, instead of spiralling into “I suck I’m the worst I will never amount to anything I should just give up.” If your shrink prescribes meds, give ‘em a shot and keep track of any changes, especially side effects. If you DO get a drop in creativity, report that shit, because your dosage is probably too high.
honestly the best feeling ever is realizing you’re not sad anymore over something you thought you would never get over
The key to antidepressants is the hellish migraine they give you so you aren't able to think about anything else
I never understood desire until I felt your hands around my throat.
