☆ His hair was the kind of dark that made his smile look brighter--the contrast doing something mathematical to the light, the dark of his curls making the warmth of his face more vivid by proximity.

☆ He had the kind of curls that made people want to touch them and the kind of face that made them think twice about asking, both things happening simultaneously, constantly, everywhere he went.

☆ He had dark curls and when he laughed they shook slightly and I thought--I want to be the reason for that. The laugh and the shaking and all of it.
