This was a new development. Not Anna fighting back, no. He remembered very well the hit to the jaw he had taken from her. But the sword? He had never invisioned her to be the type to carry a sword around.

He drew his own, trying to ignore the comment about Kristoff. “Your love will miss you terribly.”

“I don’t have a love, are you as def as you are stupid?” Anna asked, not usually one to be so snark, but when it came to him, he brought out her mean side, all be it small. 

The sword was something she had picked up on in the forest, with recent developments she had taken to keeping it strapped to her side or in arms length at all times.

“I heard he was yours now. That the smelly ice man and you were lovers and did everything together,” shrugged Hans before he moved forward. His boots sounded on the cold floor tile.

“They will have no choice but to follow me. Elsa will fall, you will be held prisoner. Without the two of you, Arendale will fall into ruin without me,” Hans scoffed.

“He’s a friend, nothing more and why should it matter to you?” the redhead scowled as she took a step back from him, her hand resting on the sword at her waist. 

“You better kill me then, as long as I’m alive no one will follow you” Anna hissed as she drew her sword.

Hans took a deep breath, collecting himself. Right. He was invading, he and his men who he had amassed for this moment. He was going to take Arrendale by force.

“Coming for the kingdom,” Hans spoke, head tilted up slightly. “Shouldn’t you be in the arms of that smelly ice man?”

“Kristoff? Why would I be with him?” Her momentary confusion was soon taken over with the realization of what he said and she snorted. “No one in this kingdom will follow you-- you aren't of their royal bloodline and that’s assuming you could beat Elsa, which you can’t.”

Anna should have been more shocked, but since showing his true colors, nothing this monster did shocked her in the lease.

Hans eyes softened as he saw her. It was just like it was the first time, only he was no longer a welcomed guest. “Anna…hello…”

Anna froze, nearly dropping the cake she had been carrying when she saw him, for a moment she forgot all of the bad that had happened and thought about what it had been like when they first met, but it had been a long while since that first meeting though and so much had changed. “Hans-- what are you doing here?”

Glancing up at the man, she tried to hide her shaking with adjusting her dress, which was at this point slightly torn as was her bodice and the cloke she had once been wearing, even her tiara was crooked amungst her red curls.

May i present you…“The Frozen Beast”. (Part 1/?)

And the Red Fox is back! This is totally canon in my head, if you haven’t noticed. Now i just lack werewolf!Hans and maybe some Potter!AU with a fox patronus. Otherwise, that’s just his nickname. 

I’ve been having a terrible art-block towards a commission, so i thought “what should i do to relax my brain and still do something cool?” (senpai advice: not drawing is not an option, NEVER do that), and then this happened. It was only 3 screens in the beginning…but who am i kidding, crossing B&B with Hanna has been a dream of mine for AGES, so this was the perfect opportunity to do it. I had to ignore some other screens, though…*looks at them lovingly*
