The claw-marked body was found in Ul’dah’s upper floors, grotesquely woven into the bars of a gate with broken limbs and drained out dry with his neck slit by a sharp blade. The deceased was identified as Nedo'a Aliapoh, a thirty-one year old man.The blood stained kiss on the victim’s face identifies this as the work of a killer known as The Crimson Kiss. A mysterious figure leaving behind bloodstained kisses on their mauled corpses, the marks lead investigators to presume that the killer is a woman. Many people has claimed to have seen her in the flesh, some describing a seductive woman who lures men away from crowds to kill. Some say she is dressed in a crimson cloak, to take vengeance against the wicked. But the fact remains… No one truly knows what she looks like and no one has certainly lived to tell the tale. Although, there has been no connection between the killer’s victims. That may be changing with last night’s kill. After a moon of silence from The Crimson Kiss, we all thought that they had stopped only to find a strangely artistic message of terror from her.

What’s interesting to note, is that this victim is quite different from the seemingly randomized killings in the past, last night was done with a sense of purpose. Especially considering the victim having been under investigation by the Brass Blades for his connection to the Syndicate and somnus trade. Is it possible that The Crimson Kiss has found her purpose? Taking vengeance on the corrupted justice that people claim to rule the Jewel of Desert? Perhaps she is now working from the underworld, sending message to another organization?

The authorities are currently investigating and will offer no official statement at this time.
