2016 Central Saint Martins Graduate Show, part 2.
2016 Central Saint Martins Graduate Show. Really enjoyed the variety of the show.
Sony Photography Awards 2016.
My most favourite photographs in the exhibit, without reading the information about the photo the quality, the composition and the emotion that the images covey resonates and has caught my attention.
1. RongRong and Inri. Husband and wife.
2. The Lantern Store - Swee Choo Oh, Malaysia, Winner, Open, Arts and Culture, 2016
3. Wake Up Call - Alexander Ingle, UK, Winner, Open, Smile, 2016 It's Easter, and after a large celebratory meal, a moment's peace is an opportunity for a nap. The youngest member of the Nawrot family, having none of it, climbs onto the sofa and prepares to wake 'Dziadzia Jacek' (his grandfather). This brief moment before jumping on his grandfather's legs is one of pure joy.
4. Enchanted Bamboo Forest - Kei Nomiyama, Japan, Winner, Open, Low Light, 2016 The season of a firefly comes around in Japan at the beginning of a rainy season. This firefly is a species called Luciola parvula, and repeats blink. [Hime-HOTARU] Call a firefly in Japan. This species flies in the beautiful forest. In particular, the firefly in bamboo forest is valuable. The population of these firefly decreases every year in Japan. These may be influence by environmental destruction. This picture was taken under a little moonlight.
Sony Photography Awards, Somerset House London 2016.
Stayed longer than expected in the exhibit. Such wonderful and powerful work of photography.
One of the most hard hitting photographs in The Sony Photography Awards exhibited at Somerset house April-May 2016.

“The Glue Boys. Happiness, sorrow and hope are all proportional to our own environment. At the garbage tip in Kitale many children spend their days looking for food. During the cold nights a lot of them sleep under a piece of plastic. In order to forget about hunger and chilly winds at night they turn to glue which they inhale in order to forget. These people form intimate and caring relationships amongst each other, because they have never been loved by the outside world sold for a few cents.”
One of the first letterpress exhibited in The British Library.
Barbican london.
I really liked the interior architecture to the entrance in Barbican toilets reminiscent to art deco style. The toilets itself was also interesting I thought there was a massive mirror and the toilets only consisting of four cubicles, but what I thought was a mirror was in fact a doorway to more toilet cubicles.
Pick me up 2016 April 22.
Went to Pick me up this year and it is sad to say but it wasn’t as good as when I first went. But none the less I got to enjoy a nice bookbinding workshop with Hato Press, to refresh my memory.
Nothing like some good architecture and delicious baked doughnuts.
Barbican Conservatory Part 2.
