HISTORY & ASTROLOGY facts
Kritika is the first sun nakashtra which have the sheep as it’s animal yoni, and of what humans has understood is that the sheep is the most connected to the sun god. The sun is the truth teller, the exposer. Therefore it’s animal can expose the truth.
in ancient Mesopotamia, Etruria, Rome, and Babylon if one wish to know the future (a king or a simple person) he will go to a (sheep liver reader) to slay a sheep under the sun light, then look at it’s liver and read. (The liver is said to be the most connected to the soul, not the heart or the brain..)The sheep’s liver is divided into squares, if a king is the one who wants to know the future of a war then the left side of the sheep’s liver will be the enemy square (basically predicts how strong the enemy is).. and so on. this ritual happens in Africa nowadays to expose criminals.
The ancient experts made tables to teach astrologers how to read the liver and predict.
It is amazing the many ageless ways to read astrology through animals or elements.. there’s so much to learn and predict the future from!
One thing in astrology is that astrologers tell about the bad affects of any placement with confidence and the good aspects of it with doubt and hesitation.
Maybe its because people relate to bad stuff easier that the good??
But i wish astrologers wudnt go like "now you may think this placement does [good stuff] but dont be mistaken cuz theres a lot of stuff that can go wrong".
(Also side note : the amount of times I've been called prone to cheating because I have the notorious venus rahu mercury conjunction in 5H and that too in pisces, although I do still think there shud be more than one interpretations. P.s never been in a relationship for more than 20 years.)
There is no hope-core from many astrologers. I know it's to prevent extreme delusions but spamming doom-core in the name of realism is killing any tiny bit of spark or a motivation one gets or uses it as a leverage to get up in life. Where and how do we draw the balance from both? doomed stuff could also be a form of delusion right? (If i've missed the context sry)
WHAT!!!!
No
They can leap 36 feet
As in leap forward 36 feet
They don’t jump 36 feet into the fucking sky do you know how terrifying that would be the human race wouldn’t have survived because we’d have all had heart attacks while still in Africa

I heard about, if we want to attract things that actually serves you in our life then we should be in alignment with our venus or embody it. Is that true?
Hey! 😊
This is a really good question and I hear it a lot in astrology circles. The short answer is - yes, it is generally true, but it is way more complicated than just "be your Venus."
Why Venus Matters for Attraction
Venus is the planet of what we value, what we find beautiful, and what we attract to us. When you are aligned with your Venus energy, you naturally draw in people, experiences, and resources that match your values. It is like tuning a radio - when you are on the right frequency, you pick up the right stations.
For example, if you have Venus in Taurus, you attract abundance when you are grounded, sensual, and patient. If you have Venus in Gemini, you attract interesting connections when you are curious, communicative, and mentally engaged. Your Venus knows what feels good to you, and when you honor that, "the universe responds".
But Here is the Thing
Venus is not always nice. If your Venus has hard aspects - squares or oppositions from Saturn, Pluto, Mars, or even challenging conjunctions - then embodying your Venus might mean embodying your wounds too.
A Venus square Saturn person might attract restriction, loneliness, or relationships that feel like duty rather than pleasure. A Venus opposite Pluto person might attract intensity, obsession, or power struggles in love. In these cases, just "being your Venus" could mean repeating painful patterns without awareness.
Also, Venus is not the whole story. Your chart ruler - the planet that rules your rising sign - is arguably more important for your overall alignment because it governs your identity and how you move through the world. Your Jupiter shows where and how you expand and find luck. Your North Node points to your soul's growth direction. Your Sun is your core vitality.
Sometimes embodying your chart ruler or your North Node will do more for you than focusing on Venus alone. A Scorpio Rising with Mars in the 10th house might need to embody that ambitious, driven Mars energy more than their Venus to attract what serves them.
My Personal Experience
I can speak to this from my own chart. I have Leo Venus in the 12th house, which means I secretly crave praise and adoration, but I hide it even from myself sometimes. However, I also have a 10th house stellium in Gemini with Saturn, Mercury, North Node, and my Cancer Sun all packed in there. That Saturn energy holds me back constantly. It tells me I need to be serious, accomplished, and responsible before I deserve any attention.
On top of that, I have Sun opposite Chiron, Pluto square Moon, and that 10th house stellium square my Moon - all of which point to lack of self-esteem and emotional intensity that is not exactly great for a Leo Venus that just wants to shine and be loved. I had to embody that 10th house stellium first - build my career, develop my skills, create structure - before I felt aligned enough to let my Venus do its work. I had to work through those wounds around worthiness before I could receive what my Venus was trying to attract.
So for me, Venus was not the starting point. It was more like the reward at the end of the journey - something I could fully step into only after I handled the harder placements that were blocking it.
What I Actually Recommend
Do not just pick one planet and call it a day. Look at your whole chart. Your Venus is important for relationships and values, yes. But your chart ruler is important for your identity. Your Jupiter is important for expansion. Your North Node is important for your life path. Your Sun is important for your confidence.
The best approach is to embody your whole chart as fully as possible. Know where your strengths are. Know where your challenges are. Work with the easy aspects to build confidence, and work consciously with the hard aspects so they do not run your life on autopilot.
If your Venus is well-aspected and placed in a comfortable house, then yes - lean into it hard. It will bring you good things. If your Venus is challenged, then embody it with awareness. Know that your attraction patterns might need adjustment, and use other planets to balance it out.
My Personal Take
I think the "embody your Venus" advice became popular because it sounds easy and appealing. Who does not want to just be more attractive and magnetic? But astrology is never one-size-fits-all. Some people need to embody their Saturn first - build discipline, create structure. Some people need their Uranus - break free, innovate, shock themselves awake.
What serves you depends on your specific chart, your current life stage, and what you are actually trying to attract. A person with Venus in the 12th house might need solitude and spiritual connection more than social charm. A person with Venus conjunct the South Node might need to let go of old relationship patterns before they can attract something new.
So yes, work with your Venus. But do not stop there. Know your whole chart. Embody your whole self. That is where the real magic happens.
If you want to go deeper, you can share your Venus sign, house, and aspects. I can give you more specific advice on how to work with your particular setup.

if you have lilith at 0 degree of any sign u carry the rawest energy of that sign with you, wherever u go.
i have 0 deg taurus Lilith and it boils my blood bad every time i remember the pattern of people just taking and taking from me and never returning the favour. i am always beneficial for other ppl but its never the other way around.
people love to take from me with full entitlement, unashamed, like it belongs to them.
so it’s important u learn to become self possessive very early because if you don’t claim your space people will fill it very comfortably
also taurus lilith natives, people LOVE your shit, u just don’t know it. also pls learn to say no. do not lend ur things to people if they are special bcs i swear u will feel so bitter when u find out ppl would not want to return it or won’t care for it.
Remember when I told ya'll last month to be ready to start looking for a Discord alternative?
Yeah things aren't looking good for discord.
#what is the alternative anyway
If you want a direct alternative there's Revolt, which is a free, open source discord clone.
Revolt is the chat app that's truly built with you in mind.
Oh...
It's even worse than I thought.
Time to go back to IRC.
I recommend Element; it's very similar to Discord and has basically the same features but it's privacy-focused and both servers and DMs can both be encrypted so only the actual users of those rooms can read the messages.
This means unlike most popular chat apps, including and especially Discord, Element doesn't sell your conversations or tracking data to advertisers, because the company literally doesn't have access to that data in the first place.
I've used it for years and I think it's a natural fit for Discord users.
sighs. saves for later
The problem with this is transferring YEARS of Discord usage to these new alternatives. Until a tool is made that allows full back up if not transfer of All That, then transitioning to these alternatives isn't feasible for the baseline everyday user.

𓆩♡𓆪 Everyone loves calling 8H / Scorpio / Plutonic energy taboo, but the second you actually start talking about what’s taboo about this energy, suddenly it’s crickets. Suddenly it’s too uncomfortable to talk about.
Um, yeah? It’s gonna be uncomfortable. That’s because a lot of people expect this romanticized pop astrology version of what the 8th house actually is, when really it is deeply unsettling.
It’s not just about people obsessing over you, it’s about unwanted attention. It’s about feeling like you're in the wild every time you go out in public and people look at you like you're a meal no matter who you are, how old you are, or where you come from.
It’s about illnesses developed from trauma. Feeling uncomfortable with yourself and your emotions given what you’ve been through. It’s living with demons, literally and internally. It’s about other people inflicting dark things on you.
It is the aftermath of what is left of that person after everything they’ve been through. The confusing feelings, the pain, the codependency.
It’s not all sweet. Of course, everyone’s lived experience is going to be different, but these things are just undeniable when we are talking about the eighth house and yet most astrologers don’t even want to go there.
It’s like oh, you liked the aesthetic of this energy, not the reality 😭
Saturn's north pole !
The hexagon is nearly 30,000 km (20,000 miles) wide. This is large enough that two Earths could fit inside the storm with room to spare.
It is a standing atmospheric wave created by a powerful jet stream that wraps around the pole. Winds along its edges can exceed 300 km/h (about 220 mph).
At the very center of the hexagon lies a deep, dark polar vortex that extends hundreds of kilometers down into Saturn's atmosphere.

it's almost summer do you guys want my stupid hyperoptimized lemonade recipe that takes half a day to make and whips absolute ass
Fruited Lemonade That Makes You Reconsider It All
ingredience:
lemons/limes (this needs to make up the bulk of the fruit being used, like at least 80%)
whatever other fruits or fruit scraps you want, plus any herbs/other flavorings you want to try. by fruit scraps I mean things like cherry pits, apple peels, pineapple cores, strawberry ends, things like that.
granulated white sugar, the coarser the better, 50% by weight of total citrus rinds + 100% by weight of any additional fruit. you'll measure this after you prep the fruit.
water as needed
equipment:
a few nonmetallic mixing bowls
a mesh strainer
a chinoise, ricer or some cheesecloth
a kitchen scale
a citrus juicer or reamer (manual or electric)
a potato masher
juice the citrus through a strainer - saving all rinds - and refrigerate the juice for the time being. dice the rinds and other fruits if any, keeping the rinds separate. make note of weights, and measure your sugar.
Place sugar in a large nonmetallic bowl. If using non-citrus fruits and/or any other flavorings, mix them in with the sugar and mash with potato masher. add diced citrus rinds, mix thoroughly, and mash again. cover and let stand at room temperature for at least 4 hours. this allows the sugar to draw out flavors that would otherwise get discarded with the rinds, and the rinds' acids should be enough to dissolve the sugar into a syrup.
Afterward, mash one last time, then collect the syrup by pressing the macerated mixture through a strainer/chinoise or ricer, or squeeze it through cheesecloth. if you want, this can be saved as a standalone syrup at this point, for use in cocktails or desserts. if not, slowly pour the reserved juice through the solids to to help get the remaining syrup out, and squeeze/press again. do the same thing one more time with warm water (roughly the same amount of water as juice). discard solids (or try making sangria with them!).
taste the mixture and add more water if necessary. a stronger mix is totally fine if you anticipate serving over ice on a hot day, or adding booze, or if there was a lot of non-sour fruit. keep in mind that it will taste a bit less sweet once it's chilled. pour into a pitcher and refrigerate.
citrus oils will float to the top, so stir/shake before serving. love you. enjoy.
some tried and true flavor combos:
straight lemon or lime, or any combination of the two, is of course an untouchable classic
lemon & strawberries (that's pussy babe!)
lemon & orange with a hint of vanilla (creamsiclemonade...?)
lemon & apples or apple peels with cinnamon/ginger/allspice (for late summer)
some cocktail type combos, booze optional:
lemon or lime & berries with basil + gin
lime & mint + white rum
lime & ginger + dark rum
lime & cucumber + gin
lime & orange (berries optional) + tequila
lemon, orange & cherry + brandy, bourbon, or rye whiskey
