It’s Time to Rise

Rise. Believe in what you Dream and Live for how your Heart is driven; but Rise. Cry a pond of endless shedding of those times that truly ached to your core; but Rise. Strengthen your Posture after you have fallen from being broken by the words you found to be true, only to be denied the truth; but Rise. Stripped of your sanity, your emotions, your un-jaded thoughts; but not your dignity, your word or your power to fight back; but Rise. Overlooked, invisible, undesired as though it may seem, but not seen by the eyes which holds the depths of your sacred essence viewed by only one whose vision is not dilated; but Rise. What matters? Do you really want to know? Why even ask the question? Why does the answer matter anyway? What I do is what I do. You wouldn’t get it anyhow. What matters is that one will always want to know. Nosey or inquisitive. Don't ask. Just observe. Are you watching or looking? You always do anyway. Don’t bother drowning in thought of understanding. You couldn't swim to my depths anyway.©

I find it to be such a paradox that there are people who are of multi-race, that feel its okay to be conveniently “Black”, when you should embrace ALL of your ethnicities at all times. It’s been quite interesting to observe people who are becoming so conveniently Black now that this very impactful movie has been released. We as “Blacks” have always been BEAUTIFUL, POWERFUL, EDUCATED and DYNAMIC in all senses of our being. It’s finally a time where this is showcased and embraced in a positive light st a very crucial time. For example, seeing all of these strong Black people (especially darker skinned) reminds me of my Beautiful Daughter who has never been able to turn off her “Blackness” for it to be of convenience in a situation, but who has had to actually struggle with the negative connotation that dark skin people should be treated less than or not valued than those who are not.

Point is, Be you. Embrace who you are at all times, not when it benefits you or is convenient.

Whatever a man gives a women, she will receive it, and she gives it back in an abundance of Love that is not comparable to any monetary value. A man that Loves his woman does not judge her; instead, he embraces her Indifferences and brings out the best in her by encouraging her better attributes. A woman who Loves her man has the strength of ten oxen when the support is needed to stand beside him, and defend any battle or obstacle that challenges his alacrity to reign supreme over any circumstance. If Men and Women accepted one another as assets instead of possessions, a progression of wholeness, value and morals would be sustained in the dwelling of their parallel being. This fusion is what governs the future mindset of our seeds. At what moment do we begin to abide by these morals? That moment is not by contingency, but by diligence.©
