Franny Oprah interviews Sara Martins at the 2015 Screen Nation Awards which took place at the prestigious Hilton Metropole Hotel in central London. The actress picked up the award for Best Female Performance in TV for her role in BBC's Death in Paradise, which also won the Diversity in Drama award.

It's that time of the year again when this fansite gives homage to our most favourite and certainly most unforgettable detective sergeant in Death in Paradise. Je te souhaite plein de bonheur en cette journée spéciale, Sara Martins a.k.a. Detective Sergeant Camille Bordey! Oh wow! Where do I begin? Y’all know we love Sara Martins on this fansite. We love her to bits and for us, she will always be the best detective sergeant in Death in Paradise. As her birthday song states, she’s truly unforgettable as DS Camille Bordey. 

I’m glad that she remains active as an actor in France and continues to hone her acting skills. I wish that some of the series she’s in would be shown here in the US. Sadly, I’ve only seen the first season of Detectives (which is as old as DiP). It would be awesome to see her in our tellies again (and no, American Odyssey doesn’t count…LOL).

Be that as it may, we still wish her more successes and happiness in both her career and personal life. Sara, je te souhaite beaucoup de santé, de bonheur, des jours ensoleillés et des moments inoubliables. Joyeux anniversaire!

A cameo role as the gangster Bruno’s girlfriend in the movie Tell No One (2006). This part was unnamed and she really didn’t have much dialogue. Just this one scene.

Tell No One (French: Ne le dis à personne) is a 2006 French thriller film directed by Guillaume Canet and based on the novel of the same name by Harlan Coben. Written by Canet and Philippe Lefebvre and starring François Cluzet, the film won four categories at the 2007 César Awards in France: Best Director (Guillaume Canet), Best Actor (François Cluzet), Best Editing and Best Music Written for a Film.

Synopsis: Rod, a native of French Guiana, lives in Paris with his mother. When he receives news that his older brother Myrtho, a gold prospector, has allegedly been shot and killed in the rainforest, Rod returns to the land of his birth for the first time since he left as a boy. Along with his buddy, Gonz, he heads via river into the forest, determined to discover the truth about Myrtho's disappearance. Arriving at a resort town, Rod and Gonz have a falling out. Gonz joins some gold prospectors, while Myrtho's former girlfriend, Yann, decides to help Rod in his quest. After an encounter with a shaman, Rod and Yann head further upriver, where they are captured by illegal prospectors and taken to their camp. Here they discover Gonz being held captive, and what really happened to Myrtho. An audacious escape plan is hatched, but will the gold forest have the last word?
