(RC) Classic Cars

I started this page to show my love of classic cars (on a budget). It's easier/cheaper to own smaller versions of the classic cars I like.

So, while I was outside taking pictures of my newly-painted El Camino, my little friend came out of the woods to see what I was doing.

This is my 1970 Chevy El Camino (on a Traxxas Slash). I got the inspiration for this paint job from my Sanford & Son truck body. I got this body from Parma PSE.

This is my 1969 Olds 442 (on a Traxxas Slash). Yes! I put working headlights on it. You're welcome. I got this body from Parma PSE.

This is my 1985 Chevy Monte Carlo SS (on a Traxxas Slash). I got this same body for my Losi SCT. I liked it so much that I had to get one for my Slash. I did the vinyl-look roof top by using truck bed liner in an aerosol can. I got this body from Parma PSE.

This is my 1956 Ford Fairlane (on a Slash). I tried to fabricate some half-moon hub caps using the bottom of some aerosol cans. I got this body from Parma PSE.

This is my 1971 Plymouth Duster body (on a Slash). I wanted to do a little something different with the paint job. I tried to do a marble effect on it. I got this body from Parma PSE.

This is a paved oval race we set-up in a parking lot for stock Slash RC cars. As you can probably see, we had a BLAST!
