there’s a smirk, amusement lining his features. he doesn’t even really consider the fact he’s holding onto the others hand, fingers curled through the gaps of Bakugo’s. he’s still doing his homework, leaned slightly into Bakugo’s space, churning the words over in his mind. it’s soft, oddly soft, especially for someone like him, and it’s jarring– one of those statements that forces him to stop. hums quietly, squeezing the others hand, before putting the pencil down and considering him more seriously.

his swallow was audible, scar covered fingers reached to try to take his hand into his own. though he was hesitant and nervous (pfft, what did he need to be nervous about?) as he decided to say FUCK IT and enclose their palms together in a nice good, old fashioned hand holding.

he stills, only for a second, when warmth graces his palms. it’s odd, until he remembers Bakugo is there and, all tension leaves him in an instant. quirks a brow, almost as if he’s about to question it, but decides against it. instead he just, calmly as always, lifts the others hand to his lips and presses a quick kiss to the knuckles.

he is absolutely not smirking when he drops them to his side once more.
