He’s oblivious to the specifics of the carnage V is raising inside the mansion, but he has a hint of it. There’s a few flashes from the windows, easily mistakable and missable unless you were staring right at them like Euro was, and those still patrolling the exterior seem to be oblivious. If he had known then there was all the chance he would have been offended by the, by comparison, menial task he was instructed with. But ignorance was bliss, and he’s chipper as ever when V focuses back from the circuits that ran through the entirety of the manor.
Like an eager mutt whose master has just dangled his leash in front of his nose, Euro paces in spot. Given a moment's notice he’s ready to go, hell he would have been already but he’s not the leader. He’s not alone with the freedom to slip up and use brute force. There’s more at stake than the usual results of the media swarming the carrion left in his wake while he sat battered and bruised in his usual shit hole, prize remarkably in head. Euro isn’t graceful nor clean, but he can get a job done.
His presence is steady at V’s six: barely a second after every turn and not missing a beat. Despite every lack of grace he didn’t attempt to hide, and didn’t need to. Old beat up boots were just as effective as sound dampening rubber and his breathing was slow and even. Just in case the delicate vines hid something else, Euro made sure to shuffle close to the wall. It wasn’t necessary, but he held it until the last inch of platforms disappeared inside the window. He backed up a few steps to get some momentum, needing the boost for his shorter frame. The toes of his boots scape against the wall as he hefts himself up: gut clenching and hefting his other arm over the still. With the grip it’s easy enough for Euro to haul himself up, righting himself on his feet as he shook out his hands.
He just grunts and waits a second for the connection before them to finalise. The little blue symbol in the corner of his vision is far from a distraction, but any it gave would have been worth the benefits. Situations like these come down to the seconds. He let V go, but still unlatched the pistol from his thigh. It was probably one of his few ‘quiet’ options: nice and new with a shiny silencer sitting on the muzzle.
Euro lent from the bathroom doorway just enough to have a sightline on V and her surroundings, but he saw the slump of her shoulders. He bit his tongue against mentioning the dual audio of her voice: echoing through his ear drums twice over. “ Right. “
It barely took a few moments for V to be standing by her side again, though his demeanour had shifted. While he may have remained jovial on the ridge, his eyes were quite literally alight and alert. Every so often he scanned the area for anything they could have missed: infrared security systems, a security guard that slipped through the cracks, or even a new fancy security gizmo they didn’t even know the name of yet. Nothing comes up, but it doesn’t hurt to be thorough. Not when they could be dragged out in body bags at one little mistake.
It takes a moment of him knitting his brows together, trying to recall the hint of the map she brought up for a moment. He also knows these kind of places: owned by two people at most with too many rooms and too many staff. The size wasn’t deceptive. They loved to flaunt their style in every inch of it too. Unless she had a pinpoint location, things weren’t going to be easy.
“ Think we should split? “ Euro suggested, already slipping his gun away to keep his hands free. “ I can take lower, you take upper. Leaves ya open for more hacks if they catch wind of us. Connection shouldn’t cut either. ” He was already peering down the stairs, ears straining for the sound of anyone else entering the house. “ What’re we lookin’ for exactly? Don’t think they’re gonna write key on the box. “
