I need to be with someone who reads. Someone who is intrigued by language and vocabulary and the empowerment and personas that words can create. Someone who challenges me. Someone who understands me. Someone who pushes me to test my boundaries and someone who believes I will succeed in anything I set my mind to. Someone who gets why I do what I do, and that i’m just trying to keep sane. I need to be with someone who would put me in my place had I tried to sleep with them the first day. Understanding that the mental and sexual intricacies are both equal but one should come first and then they can come together. Someone who I can have the night with who stimulates my mind. Who tells me about his childhood and why he likes a certain type of woman that doesn’t necessarily describe me but rather expands what he’s into. Someone I can vent to completely by accident because I’m so comfortable in his company he became the pages of my diary I pour my heart onto. We’d laugh. We’d cry when the conversation got deep enough. We’d be soulmates. We’d do anything that made us happy. Then we’d make love. It’d be okay because he’d treat me as I deserved.
