Anyone that knows me is aware of how frequently I roll my ankles. The last time I rolled my left ankle I sustained a medial avulsion fracture that left me in a considerable amount of pain, so I underwent surgery to debride the excess bone growth and had Brostrum repair done to shorten the medial and lateral ligaments, thus increasing stability. Cast was removed after two weeks and this is the outcome. Now comes the fun part 😬 It’s amazing how de-conditioned you can become after only 2 weeks! If you see me out and about in my fancy walking boot, now you know! #itsalloverbutthecrying #roadtorecovery #betterthanbefore
