Uhhh hi there. I read your comic "Stormfall" back on Tapastic/Tapas some four years ago. I remember it was planned for a reboot and it even had a sort of prologue (if I recall right) called "Tales of the Harbinger" published back in 2018. There's been radio silence since. I wanted to ask: What has become of Stormfall? Will the reboot never see the light of day? I still think back to it some 4 years later. Hi there! You are in fact in the right place and my goodness, thank you so much for asking. I sometimes forget I actually had/have an audience, and I can't tell you how much it means to me that the story has stuck with you in some way for so long.
Things have changed a lot. Rest assured I have not nor will ever give up on writing the story, its such a huge part of me, but plans have changed. After lots and lots of consideration, I've decided to pivot towards writing it as an actual novel, rather than a comic, and I have been working on that for the last year or so. I have absolutely no time frame as to when it might be released, as I am also pursuing a masters degree in game design and working my way into the game industry (who knows, maybe one day there will be a game, too), but I am working steadily on it. Making it a novel gives me so much more room to plan and revise and revise and revise...
Anyway, thank you so incredibly much for asking. I apologize I dont have more to share (though I do have some art I havent posted and I really should get to that), but someday, somehow, there will be more. I just hope people like you still remember it when that time comes 😅
