I love that the TFwiki page for Transformers One just has a bunch of Prince of Egypt references for the picture captions.

I know she wouldn't risk the demotion, but I can totally picture miner Elita-1 taking a beer and smoke break
She just needs the break!
More concrete evidence that Arcee is fond of Optimus even before they reached total openness by Unicron. She wants him to get to enjoy having Earth in the Cybertronian council after working so hard for it. Extremely questionable methods aside, he does genuinely wants this for the sake of peace and Arcee respects that kind of thing.
But Arcee putting her violence in service of someone is the default way she has to show she likes them, as we see with Bee back in exRID #18, which makes sense since that's the thing she understands best. But after everything she went through and especially through developing her relationship with Aileron, she learns to connect with people in more intimate ways. By the end her fondness of Optimus shows by making the choice to not go to his funeral and instead honor his memory by explaining him as the person he was.
Understandable but disappointing that the transformers fandom is so yaoi focused bcos the robot yuri potential is off the shits. If you believe in yourself literally any of the robots can be lesbians.
Every so often they trans on of the robots into a girl in canon. I think if we work hard enough we can get Starscream.
Do the people know about the trans lesbian transformer couple from the comics. Well here they are.
This one turns into a submarine and has social anxiety. What transformers lacks in robotgirl quantity it makes up in robotgirl quality.

An anon once asked me “what would’ve happened if Knockout had died instead of Breakdown?” This is my answer.
(also, in case it’s hard to see, these are supposed to be Vehicons holding Breakdown back, I messed that one up badly, sorry)

Actually when I think about it, even tho IDW1 already has themes of the cyclical nature of violence (mainly in Barber's phase 2/3 work honestly) I feel like there are multiple interpersonal relationships that also convey this point specifically through the lens of intergenerational trauma in a way like. Terminus to Megatron to Tarn (fuck you could even throw in Tarn to Pharma as well) and the dangerous of radicalism and cult-figure behavior. Shockwave and Zeta to Optimus about how the responsibility of Saving the World/Creating a Good Society (TM) falls on the shoulders of One Guy who has to fix everything himself.
There's fertile ground there for something. I don't want to say literally intergenerational trauma as in familial, but... there's something
imagine losing two milfs in one day, tragic.

forever thinking about D-16’s “I want to kill him.” monologue. that initial line hit so hard. it was a line that made me think There He Is. because, yeah, that’s the megatron we know. that’s the megatron that worked in the mines, and when cybertron’s government turned its back on him, his rage won out. he devoted his life to something for nothing, for a world that didn’t give a damn about him. the story may have changed, but the essence of his origin is still there.
sorry i saw this post and all i could think abt was this
